Heaven is right in your lap. You don’t have to travel anywhere to reach it. It has already reached you. When your thoughts rise and your eyes widen, then you will know Heaven’s beauty and grace, and you will know where you have been right along.

Consider Heaven like someone you pass in the super market that you did not recognize until later perhaps. Just because you didn’t recognize someone right away, it doesn’t mean they weren’t there.

Your lack of recognition is commonplace. Yet you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. There is nothing you lack but recognition. With recognition comes appreciation. With appreciation comes thankfulness. With thankfulness comes love. With love comes peace. What more do you want?

Desire to be a Human Being Who sees and hears today, who recognizes, appreciates, gives thanks and love and peace as if they were after-dinner mints.

Where you saw an event one way, now see it another. When you chew gum, you can chew on one side of the mouth or the other. So is it with your thoughts. Your thoughts are not infallible.

No matter how effably or ineffably you walk a path, you make progress. So long as you are walking, you get ahead. Move your thinking onward the way a snow plow picks up snow and drops it off to the side. Just pick up the fresh snow of thoughts, and there is nothing you will have to do with the old ones. They will have gone the way of old thoughts, not to be dug up again, just left where they are, passed by, left behind, unnoticed and forgotten.

This is how you know your consciousness has grown: The more you desire to love, the more you desire to be kind, the more you desire to understand, the more you see your growth of consciousness. Know that you are growing at the right pace, not too fast, not too slow, but just right. Maybe not fast enough for you, but just right for Me.

Do you not think I have plans for you? Do you not think I wrote you in in my calendar? Do you not think that I have set the timer to go off? Do you not think I have automatic scheduling? Do you not know that you will levitate at the proper moment, and that you do not always know when that moment is, but I do?

I omit no one.

And if you really want to hasten your perceived progress, you do not hasten it with effort. You will hasten it with joy. Joy hastens all your desires to you. Joy is the fulfillment of your desires. You have thought you have to wait for joy before you get going. Get going and joy will rush in, and you will get up and be happy and fulfill your desires. When it comes to fulfillment of desires, wait for nothing. Anticipate and go about your business.

You can have the joy now that you think the future will bring. Have joy now and have more joy later. Get into the habit of joy, and it will be a hard one to break. Set your life to joy, and joy will be done. If you want My Will to be done, know that My Will is joy. Find and give joy, and you have acceded to My joy. You have wanted to know what My Will is, and now I tell you. Go out there and make joy, and then, before you know it, you will know that you have been in the midst of fulfillment all along. Joy is the signal to you. Joy is the fulfiller and fulfillment of all your desires.
