Not only do you want the world to be ideal, you also want to be ideal. You want to be the beloved of the world, and you want to be the benefactor to the world. And when you are not in the mainstream, when you find yourself feeling differently from others, when you feel yourself an offshoot, you feel a little dismayed. You didn't turn out quite as you expected. You would like to be well-pleased, but you find you are not. And sometimes you feel you are the only one who is not like everyone else in your circle of the world.

Time and time again, the world, as you know it, disappoints you, and time and time again, you disappoint yourself.

The word "disappoint" is interesting. I have appointed you as My emissary. I would never unappoint you. But when you remove yourself from your true purpose, you have disappointed yourself.

You cannot be everything to everyone.

You cannot be what everyone wants.

And everyone cannot be what you want.

But you are what I want, and I want you to be you, not someone else.

I appointed you you.

When you do not agree with those around you and try to, you feel untrue to yourself. That does not feel good. That feels very bad indeed.

So what if you are not like everyone else, or what everyone else seems to be?

So what if you are a renegade?

So what if you align yourself more with Me than with others?

If you are in truth, you cannot stand with the masses, for they may not be in truth.

Or does it only seem that you stand alone when you stand with Me? Why would the least lonely thing in the world seem like the loneliest to you? Because no one sees Me quite as you do? Because everyone has his own take on Me? Whereas I am the same irrefutable God, each has his own version. In that sense you stand alone.

You do not want Me to be exclusive to you. You really do want everyone to know they have Me. You want to share Me, and yet not everyone wants to share your view of Me. In the arena of God, you do not compete, but you cannot compromise either. You believe in accepting all views, yet you feel incapable of doing that.

Of course, I am not more or less dependent upon someone's view of Me. So why are you?

You are not a scale to weigh other's views. And yet you need not go their way. You can go yours. You must go yours. You cannot do otherwise.

How you approach Me is your approach. And how others approach Me is their approach.

How you reveal Me is your way to reveal Me. How others reveal Me is their way to reveal Me.

I belong to everyone. I belong to them as they see Me in their eyes.

No one need join in with anyone else.

You join with Me.

I am enough.

And you, just as you are, are quite right with Me.

Each of you is the entire universe, and yet each is his own sector.

All light is My light, and yet each of you diffuses My light according to your heart. There is nothing else for you to do.

I have one vibration, and yet each of you vibrates to the Oneness variably. Oneness is One, and yet it is several.

Be true to your awareness of Me, and know it is okay to allow others the breadth to do the same.
