Your consciousness is unlimited. There is no top on it. It can go as high as the sky and higher. It can alight in Heaven. It can alight on the highest Heaven. There is no height that your consciousness cannot reach.

Let us say that your consciousness can fill a gallon jug. Let's say right now you are within the range of one pint. The molten gold tops at the one pint line. Even though the jug has a capacity of a gallon, the gold at present only reaches the pint line. It certainly can reach the quart line, but not until the molten gold expands.

So with consciousness. There is no limit on consciousness, but it can only go as far as it goes right now. In a minute, it can be more, but this minute it goes only so far.

However, I must tell you that your consciousness fluctuates. It has spikes, and it even bottoms out. You switch it higher as if with a pump, and you lower it as if with a hole in the bottom. How high is your consciousness when you are angry, beloveds? Yes, your consciousness goes up and down according to what you perceive.

You see the world according to your present consciousness. Your consciousness is unlimited, but right now it is where it is. At the one pint range, you can see only from the vantage of one pint. When you reach one quart, you can see from a bigger vantage, and so on.

The world reaches as high as your consciousness. As your consciousness rises, so does what you see. You see according to your consciousness.

When you were a child, you spake as a child.

We are talking about consciousness. You can only see from where you are. Anything else is either putting on airs or going back to where you have risen from.

Now you ask in all sincerity: "Oh, God, please tell me how to raise my consciousness. I have tried this and that, and still I am not as high as I would like to be. I have heard of people who become enlightened in an instant. One moment, they were a pint, and the next moment they spill over the gallon jug, and a five-gallon jug is not big enough for them. But I rise, if I rise, drop by drop. How can I speed this up? I will do anything."

I answer you: Beloved child, if you will do anything, then be patient. You cannot make your consciousness rise. You let it rise. Leave it free. Consciousness rises by desire and intention. Consciousness will rise anyway, but desire and intention are your focus on it.

When the consciousness of the person next to you rises, yours will rise as well. Remember too that you are an instrument to raise the consciousness of those around you. You can help someone else raise theirs.

Enjoy the consciousness that you are at now. Each level of consciousness has its joy. Extract joy wherever you are now.

As much as possible, leave ignorance. Do not gossip. Do not disparage anyone or anything. Keep your attention high, and your awareness will follow.

The formula for hastening higher consciousness is through joy. You already know that joy lifts you a notch. Greater joy will lift you higher. There is great joy in the world. Expand your consciousness, and you expand joy accordingly. What a lovely assignment: Increase your joy and the joy of those around you.
