Be that which you want Me to be — wise and benevolent. It is not that love is tempered with wisdom, for love, of its very nature, is wise. It is innately wise of the heart to love.

That you have the whole universe at your fingertips doesn't mean I spoil you. I do not do everything for you, although everything I do is for you. We could say I give you all the parts of the toy, and leave it to you to assemble. Certainly you are a participant in life.

True, you are also an observer. In that case, let your eyes that observe be eyes of love.

Your term on Earth is so short, why engage in folly? Is not strife folly? Is not anything on Earth but love folly? Of course, in Heaven, only love exists.

Some of you might say: "God, since life on Earth is not real anyway, and nothing really happens, what does it matter then what seems to happen? What does it matter if there is war and bloodshed any more than it matters if there is love and happiness? If all is illusion, what matters which illusion? What matters what transpires when all is nothing but ripples in the water? Our bodies drop in any case. What matters when or how when none of this relative life is real?"

Even as you ask, you know it matters very much, and it matters very much to you. Life on Earth is not to be cavalier about. Yes, all is illusion. Yet while you are at it, why would you choose the illusion of war over peace? Why wouldn't you develop the illusion of brotherhood instead? The illusion of ego does not have to reign on Earth.

On Earth, you are seeking Truth. Truth is inviolable. The Truth is Love. Why violate it?

When your life on Earth is over, you will recognize fully the love that you are. Be it now.

Yes, pain and suffering are not Truth. They are not real. They are presentiments. Yet why must the illusion of pain and suffering infiltrate the hearts of My children when love abides? Why would any one of My children wish to promulgate less than Truth during this brief imagined sojourn on Earth?

True, once you are off-stage, the play is over. It was only a play. You might say that you were destined to play the role of the hero or villain. That has some truth to it, yet you might be saying therefore that you are not responsible. You may say you cast your lot before you came to Earth. You may say that all is ordained, and that I ordained it, and you have no real choice in the matter. You may say that if you are to play villain, you will play the best villain possible. Or you may say there is no good nor bad acting. You may comprehend that there is no good nor bad at all. And yet, as you say this, you squirm in your seat, and you know that you can be and do as you decide.

Free will does exist. You are not in a vise. Whatever contracts you wrote, you can unwrite.

Perhaps you only thought your role was villain. Perhaps you were mistaken and wore the wrong costume. You can change into another. You can play more than one role. Have you not anyway?

Villains are as much in My heart as you. To Me, there is no difference, but to you there is. For your sake while on Earth, I urge you to choose love and forgo judgment. Truly, I have asked you to uplift the world and point it toward Me, the God of Love. While you walk in illusion, walk in love which is not illusion.
