Whose Thought, Whose Desire?
Kathy to God:
Dear God, my former negative boyfriend, Frederick, is coming back to town in a week with his mother, and they will be staying in the exact same house I'm living in! (I live in a mansion shared with many others.)
My attention and life have been going in quite another direction after Frederick, and I have been feeling good about it and myself.
I am scared because Frederick is returning. I don't want him in my awareness. I don't want all his negative stuff, and I don't know how to handle it. I try to think more positively, but he dumps such negative energy on me.
I won't be leaving for Spain for another six weeks. I know that if I moved faster on things, I would be there already and not be exposed to this situation.
Now I am faced with another test of equanimity. Should I stick it out or move out?
Dear God, last time you put a cloak of protection around me, and I won't mind if You do it again.
There has to be an end to my karma.
Thank You for Your help.
God to Kathy:
My dear child, Kathy.
The first thing to do, right now, is to mentally send My blessings to Frederick. Send him My love, not yours. Bless him to My goodness and all My gifts in life. Bless him to My care. Bless his mother as well. Bless them as you would two strangers you heard about somewhere in the world who need and would welcome My blessings. Do this every day.
Frederick's return is not a test of your equanimity.
It is a blessed occasion for you to see for yourself that Frederick has no power over you.
Treat and greet him as you would anyone who comes to stay. Be courteous, and go about your business. Be neutral, dear Kathy. That is your protection. Also his mother will keep him away, so she is also your protection.
You don't have to run away from this situation. It is nothing to run away from.
It is uproarious really, Kathy. He not only returns to the town where you live which he was never going to return to again, but he is staying in the same house, and he is bringing his mother!
Can you laugh at this even a little bit?
When Frederick sees your new neutrality, he may want to pull you back so he can push you away again. You don't have to be charmed by him, and I recommend that you not.
Frederick has no power over you but what you give. Give none.
As for added protection for you, I swaddle you in My love. I wrap it all around you so tight it is like skin. Nothing negative can reach you. I will also send you angels so you will know that you are safe and loved. Nothing can befall you, dear Kathy. You will see.
And let the Heavenreaders know how you do.
Gloria:
Dear God, I wonder about thoughts. People ask me how I know the thoughts in Heavenletters are Your thoughts, not mine. You've answered that particular question before, but now I ask about thoughts in general. Are any thoughts my own?
God:
Thoughts come from your past thoughts or from the ether. They are thoughts remembered or thoughts just newly lit. The thought that is lit is like a candle that you find, but you ignite it.
Many of you pick up the same thought. You also pick up other people's thoughts. No one is in isolation.
Nothing is your own. Nothing is exclusively yours.
Consider thoughts as geese migrating. Some hunters catch one goose, and some another.
Consider thoughts as rain dripping from a twirling umbrella. Where you are under the spin of the umbrella makes a difference in which drop of thought you catch.
Consider thoughts as stars in the night sky. Which ones do you look at?
Consider that thoughts spiral like a double helix.
And where your attention is on the spiral is where you pick up the thought.
Einstein had his attention in a particular area, and his discoveries were simply the next thought from the one before. The angle of his attention and where his attention landed on the spiral designated his thoughts.
This is an exquisite process.
Consider thoughts as clay in your hand.
You start with the same clay, and with that clay, your fingers mold the clay into something unique.
You start with your attention, grab a thought, and remake it. Or you discover the thought clearly as it is like a lightening-flash. How close to the source of thought you are depends on the thought.
In Godwriting, you dip a ladle into the Source, and you pull out My pure love-energy, and then you pour My love-energy into a thought made of words. But you had to pick up the ladle.
Everyone is psychic. It depends on where they are looking.
Gloria:
Dear God, did I decide to do Heavenletters, or did You?
God:
You picked up My desire that this be done, and that you do it. My desire, My thought. But you picked it up. Then you had the openness and willingness. Then you followed My desire where it would take you. You didn't and don't know where it will take you, but you want to follow it more than anything else. You are on the trail of My desire.
And then you want to show Me My desire. You want to reflect it. You draw a picture of My desire, and you hold up the picture for Me to see. You want to show Me My desire, and that it has become yours as well.
You see, you are My hands.
My children are My hands.

Julie to Gloria:
What a Heavenletter Wednesday (Lauren's question)! The new Millennium has started off like a rocket to Heaven!
Jon to Gloria:
The past two Heavenletters, Lauren's question and the one yesterday, are two of my top ten!
Priscilla to Gloria:
Dear Gloria, I know that Heavenletters will mean a great deal to my sister and her family, as it does to me and my daughter, so I am giving my sister and her family a gift subscription.
Soon my son and his wife will have an email address, and I will give them a subscription for their first anniversary. This will certainly be the most wonderful "paper" gift ever received!
