Beloved, what makes you think that your desires are your desires? How do you know that they are not Mine?

Perhaps your desires are My prayers answered. I certainly desire you to come close. You get an inkling of that and you do come closer to Me. When you find Me in your heart, sitting there, waiting for you, Whose prayers are answered, yours or Mine? Who is the fulfiller of My prayers? And Who fulfills yours? Our prayers and their fruition are One. Could it be otherwise?

A sense of peace overcomes you. Who is it Who desired peace before you thought of it? And who was it, of his own accord, who thought he departed from peace? Surely anything less than peace is a wandering from it.

If war serves a purpose, it is to bring you to peace. It is the long way round, and yet, inevitably, war will restore you to peace, to the yearning for peace, for that quietude within that has no ax to grind, no battle to fight, only love to find and share.

It is My desire that you recognize love, that you trip over it. If love is a pool, I ask that you immerse yourself in it and pull everyone in with you and splash to your heart's content. I desire that you notice love and that My desire be fulfilled as I speak. What is there to distinguish between My desire and My Will?

It is not that you have to adopt My Will. It is already yours. Only you may have forgotten. In all the busyness of moving to Earth, in all the packing and unpacking, in all the movement to and fro, you have forgotten My desire. You may have even forgotten Me until you remember. Are you remembering now?

If you have a past, it is your past with Me. I say past even though We know time is not. You and love and imaginary past, present, and future are all wrapped up in Eternity where past, present, or future do not exist. Beloveds, there is no departure from Eternity, only a lapse in your recollection, just for a moment. Just for a moment, you forget Who you are, you forget there is nowhere to depart from and no aspect of time to do it in. A momentary aberration. For a nonexistent moment, you drew a blank thought. You found yourself on Earth the same way you have gone to the refrigerator and forgotten what you are there for.

Now I tell you why you came to Earth. You came to find the love you never lost. You are going up and down hill and dale looking for the love you forgot. You are looking for Me, which is the same as to say you are looking for yourself. You follow footsteps when, all the while, there are none.

There is no path to love, just as there is no path to Me. Love is its own path. Where can path be when I am already here immersed in you? Do you think you can swim in the Pool of Love without Me? Do you think that you can exist for one moment without My Presence? My Presence is so silent, so still, so omnipresent that you don't see Me. You follow My nonexistent trail, however, in search of Me even though I am right here.

You are My desire. My desire is fulfilled. Because I AM, I exist for you, and so you exist for Me. You do not exist for yourself, beloveds. You exist for Me. There is nothing else to exist for. There is nothing else. Our desire for one another was fulfilled long ago in the moment of Creation. I prayed for you. By virtue of My desire, you came into existence. By virtue of My desire, you have the Free Will to know Who and Where you are.
