What If There Were No Words?
What if you had never heard the word predicament? Would you then ever be in one?
What if words had never been invented for anything you don't want? What if the word anger never existed? Would you feel what seems to be the reality of anger then? Would you ever think about anger or cause for it?
What if the word anger were defined differently? What if anger were named absence of love for a moment, or short pause in love, or faulty perception?
What if you had never seen anger, and no one had ever been angry with you? Where would you have learned anger then?
What if everyone on Earth dared to be young and knew only play and joy?
What if no one had ever heard of the concept of frustration?
What if no one had ever heard of disharmony? What if everyone knew only harmony, yet had the awareness that the development of some harmony takes longer than others?
What if you had totally original thoughts? What if you really did think for yourself? What would you dispense with and what would you keep, and what would you add?
What if you, today, spoke only positive words? There would be some things you simply could not say. Perhaps the whole vibration of the world would change because of what you did not say.
What is not possible?
What if you had never heard of the concept of hard or easy?
Why do you have to know cold and hot?
What if there were no words for anything?
Words are wonderful things, and yet some words are not wonderful, so why have them?
There are so many languages in the world. Why could not all languages express only joy? What is so important about logging anything that is not joy?
What if there were no questions and no answers? When your heart is clear, what is there to ask? When your heart is not clear, what answer can be heard?
What exists that must?
What does not exist that couldn't exist?
If ill can exist, cannot wonder?
If wonder can exist, why could that not be all that exists?
Must what is unnecessary or unhappiness-making have to be? Why should it be anywhere?
Beloveds, when you see the world and life as one way, perhaps you are looking through the eyes of the past. Something was one way. Because it once was doesn't mean it should play out the same way again. When you throw dice, what are the odds of snake eyes coming up the next time?
A dog may see a squirrel under one tree. The next time he goes that way, he looks for the squirrel to be there. You too have been like that, beloveds. You look for what you once saw. Even when you are not convinced that the past continues, you still may fear a reoccurrence. Stop fearing and start looking toward a different scenario.
I am asking you to let go of the past. Even joy remembered is past.
Opportunity exists. Opportunity means that more possibilities present themselves. Opportunity means something new on your horizon.
Being prisoner of the past is like having a book before you that you have never read. But you look at the cover and say, "I know what this book says." Of course, with a book, that is fine to do. But with your life, beloveds, I adjure you to take another look.
