Gloria to God:

Dear God, I would like to go back to the first part of Jon's question from yesterday. Reducing it to its simplest, it is: What do we do when we usually feel connected to You, and then there's an off day? I know you say to put attention back on You, but how? What exactly does that mean?

I have to add, dear God, that that is my question today also. All of a sudden, I started to feel like the bottom dropped out, and I'm nowhere and don't know anything, and would give anything to have You fully back. Here You are, I'm talking to You, and I know You will answer, and yet I am feeling far away as if You are no longer warm in my heart.

God:

First of all, it is good that you and Jon know this is temporary. It is a temporary negativity felt as doubt that makes a crack in your sense of love.

This makes clear to you that love entering and returning are the same. You are not feeling your usual love for Me, and you also cannot feel Mine for you. Which is which?

The sun cannot warm you until you feel warmed.

My love is revolving around you, and you cannot feel it, so, in that way, it has not reached you, or you haven't reached for it.

What you do is ask Me. You tell Me the truth. You do not feel close to Me at this time, and you admit it. In this moment you feel you have lost what can never be lost, but you feel it, so in your awareness I am lost to you. So you return your awareness to Me. Awareness. That is attention.

Talking to Me is a good way to do that. Say:

"Dear God, dear Almighty Father, dear Father in Heaven, I seem to have misplaced You today. Where could I have left You? The fact that I know You are eternal and everywhere doesn't seem to help me in this moment as I feel far away from You and Your love, even though I know they are inseparable, You, I, and Your love.

"God, I thought I was 'there'. I thought I had You in my hand, and, now, where have I put You? Where could You have gone? What have I done?

"Have I put a barrier in my heart? There is a coldness there.

"I want what I thought I had. I did have it. And if I had it, I can have it. It is up to me.

"So I invite You back fully into the awareness of my heart.

"I will do what you want and go where you want. Am I not following You?

"Is it something I have done that I feel I have misplaced Our wonderful connection?

"I almost feel that it is better not to have had it than to lose it. I don't really mean that, but it hurts more to see Your chair empty than if I had become accustomed to having You there.

"Please restore myself to me. Please make so much noise, or wave Your hand in front of me, so I cannot possibly think You are missing."

And I say to you:

Will you pay more attention to your feeling of loss or to Me? Will you honor your doubt more than you honor Me? Where does your attention go? Put it on Me. Say God, God, God.

My children, you know where your happiness lies, and your doubting, experienced as loss, confirms to you the direction you have chosen.

Consider doubt your flaw to bless, and bless it for making you humble and calling your attention to itself.

If I cannot be away from you, and I cannot, then you can only imagine that you have wandered away from Me and left Me somewhere along the way. All you have to do is notice.

You are paying more attention to the stricture in your heart than you are to Me in your heart. You are looking at the desert rather than the oasis directly in front of you.

I would say to you, look at some art. You have books of great art. Look for Me there.

I would say, Play some music you love.

I would say, Walk your puppies and return to your sense of Me on your walk.

Hold your puppies, and know you hold Me.

Look in the mirror, and know I am there.

Be simple today. Do not complicate.

Once again, I give you and Jon, and all who read this and all who do not, a perfectly executed diamond of love, and I place it in your hearts where it shines forever. This is a small token of My love. It is for remembrance. Put your hand there over your heart, and you will remember My love. And soon you will not be remembering but vibrating it so loudly that you will think, "God, ease back a little. You are overwhelming me with Your love. I am swimming in it. It is overflowing everywhere."

And I will say, "That is just right. Let My love overflow your boundaries and rush to your neighbors, rush out of your heart to cover the whole world with that love of Mine spilling from you."

It can only be illusion to think you don't have Me. Everyone has felt Me at one time or another, with or without My Name. Once you know Me, once you have felt Me however near and far and wide and deeply or shallowly in your heart, then the only way you can delude yourself I have gone is by thinking about too many non-essentials and honoring them more than Me.

This is what I mean when I say to put your attention on Me. I do not need your attention. You need your attention. Attend to Me. Don't let Me out of your sight.

How long can you be unhappy when you think of Me?

How do you feel now? What has happened to your heart?

Gloria:

It feels fuller.

God:

It is not fuller. You are just noticing the fullness. Remember, I never ever withdraw from you. And you can never ever withdraw from Me. You just think you can. I do not recede, and you cannot make Me!

So, whenever that gulp of loss sticks in your throat, call out to Me to remind yourself that I am here. Remind yourself. Call Me.

From the bottom of your heart?

Gloria:

Yes!

God, A Course in Miracles talks about faithfulness to You. Is that the same as attention on You?

God:

Yes.

Gloria:

In all areas of life?

God:

Yes. Draw your heart close to Mine, and you are faithful.

Gloria:

I left out A Course in Miracles yesterday because I thought what I had was too short and not good enough. Today it looks good enough! It says that patience results from trust.

God:

So My children do not need to strive. Impatience is striving.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, I feel like I have been walking the razor's edge, and, today, God gave me a quick cure.

Mother Divine:

There is no razor, and there is no edge. You walk in perfect safety with God. You cannot fall. You can walk at the edge of a cliff, fly in the sky, and your connection to the Heavenly Father is intact. No ill can befall you. You are not your body, and you are not your doubts or anybody else's. All His children are 100% God's love. That is immutable. Anything that blocks that is a façade and has no substance.

Let your heart sing the joy of God because He has given it to you. That is the diamond He placed in your hearts.

God Himself is the Diamond. He has placed Himself in your hearts. His light beams out of you. His light brightens you. His light fans you. His light lightens you until you are as high as Heaven.

Be grateful to God who has given you everything. Get out of the past, and you will see that He has given you everything in this moment. It is for the taking.

Do not refuse God what He offers you. Say Yes to God.

He says, would you like to help Me?

Say Yes. Don't ask questions. Just say Yes.

He says, you want to serve Me?

Say Yes.

He says, you want to come with Me?

Say Yes.

He says, you want to help My children?

Say Yes.

He says, you want to receive all I have to give you?

Don't hesitate. Say Yes.

He says, are you ready for more?

Say Yes.

He says, are you My Beloved?

Say Yes.

He says, do you have more room in your heart?

Say, no, it is full.

He says, does it spill over?

Say Yes.

And He says, Good.
