The mind perceives while the Heart truly sees

Back and forth
Up and down
Go the thoughts of the mind
While the heart
Uncaught by time, racing not
Is sublime
Free
"Just" to Be
Because it so frees

The mind frets while the Heart merely begets

Love
Not the emotional kind
That leaves one above only to be then left behind
Awaiting moments to be gone
Or to come
Before it celebrates
The peace whence it's from
But some"thing" far beyond
That’s been us, right here, all along

The mind affronts or hides while the Heart contentedly abides

In the moment
Of our all
In the meaning
Of our call
In the healing
Nay, the Health
Which focuses not on ill effects, on dis-ease
By protecting not need
For from Safety does it ween

The minds reign is a pseudo rule while the Heart is no fool

For it never picks up useless tools for gain
Because it never puts down
A frown or the rain
Any more than it would boastingly laugh in disdain
At another's expense
But would, rather, toast to the others
In fact, to adhere to the facts
It wouldn't even see a would be an"other"
Only sisters and brothers; aye, heavenly lovers

The mind actually follows while the Heart always leads

For being in front is really a front
If ahead
Means leaving behind
As a shepherd lost of his flock
Runs amuck, for lack of stead
A purpose hollow at best
Whereas the wholeness of the Heart
Maintains an even level
Through knowing the equality and worthiness of all from the start
