Gloria to God:

Dear God, of what would You like to speak today?

God:

Let's talk about fatigue. The body is your servant. It feels fatigue from the mind. The mind tells it to be tired because the mind has bought the idea of limitation.

When the body feels heavy, laden, there is something on the mind that weighs it down.

You see how powerful the mind is?

That is good to know. The mind that makes the body leaden can also make it light. It can allow it to fly through the sky and alight like a butterfly.

The mind is the advisor. The body is not. The body is the advised.

Gloria:

So it's better not to listen to the body so much?

God:

It is the body that has listened to the mind. Let the mind listen to Me.

Gloria:

Dear God, I would like to ask you about transition. Caroline mentioned how when she is at home, she wants to continue being at home. When she is at work, she wants to stay and finish what she has been working on. I am familiar with that.

And then there are the big transitions in life. Even the ones you really want, like marriage, building a house, redecorating, moving etc. are hard.

God:

They seem hard because you hold on and because you expect perfection. You see the turn in circumstance as enormous because you believe the outside is where your life is.

You are the same you simply moving in another arena.

From living alone to living with someone, from living with someone to living alone, all of the many occasions that you call big, are merely adjustments in thinking. What makes them hard is resistance to the adjustment.

There is resistance where acceptance is not, and to the degree it is not.

As for the minor transitions, where you are started on something and want to continue — what a blessed life! Much better than not being able to wait to get out of the house, or wait to get out of work…

A shift in attention is a continuance in attention, and it flexes you.

Gloria:

Even the transits of the stars and planets are supposed to be influential.

God:

Yes. Everything in the relative has influence. And you also affect the stars. You shine on the stars as they shine on you. You are the same light.

Light was turned on, and it stays on. Some lights are in the imagined here, some in the imagined there, some in the imagined then, some in the moment of now, but all the same light everywhere.

Gloria:

Dear God, it is hard to be absorbed in Your greatness and the greatness of Your creation, and then make the transition to taking out the trash!

God:

Consider the routine daily acts as tacks that hold beautiful upholstery together.

Beautiful upholstery, made to fit a chair, is tucked in, and then the chair is considered upholstered.

The cloth is beautiful of itself, but the upholstery tacks anchor the beautiful cloth.

In incorporating the beautiful cloth onto the utilitarian chair, the little tacks serve a worthy purpose.

Acts such as taking out the trash make you notice the magnificence of the universe.

Remember that the little so-called lowly acts educate your soul. The mundane is also Godly.

What a privilege to take out the trash! How symbolic of clearing the mind! How good it feels when you have taken out the trash!

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, what will you add?

Mother Divine:

Has God made it clear that your light is immutable, and through whatever worldly transitions, the light is not dimmed? Keep your attention on the light, and transitions will not seem so enormous.

Without the awareness of God's light and your own, you are on a roller coaster with nothing to keep you in your seat.

Transitions call your attention back to your God's light.

The light is no less during transitions.

Focus on that light, and transitions will take care of themselves.

Whatever you are doing, you are serving God. God does not see one thing as more important than another. He does not give merit badges for one service and not another. He does not see big and little.

The flow of love seeps into every corner and crevice.

Light is light. It shines everywhere.

God thanks you for shining your light and reflecting His back to the universe.

Think of yourself as a lamp, and light every path.

Consider, as you take out the trash, that you are a lighted soul doing that. Consider, as you walk your dogs, you cast light. As you clean house, as you wash dishes, you are lighting the world.

Think of yourself as light wherever you go. That way you are thinking of truth, for your purpose is to shed light.

The light that you are touches only light. You carry only light. You move light around. That is all you do on earth or in Heaven is be the light and move it.

How bright is the universe when you notice its light. Life is One Light lit up in many forms.
