Have the idea today that everything you do is easy. Have the idea today that all good comes to you. Have the idea today that life unfolds before your very eyes with treasures to behold. Have the idea today that you are a wine taster of life. All the goblets are filled with good wine, and you simply taste.

Have the idea today that life is a river that flows to your feet.

Have the idea today that there are no faraway mountains to climb. All peaks come close through your eyes of love.

Do cartwheels in life. Live your life with aplomb. Live it with zeal. Live it as you would eat a wonderful meal set before you. Take a heaping plate. Take big bites. Fill your cup, drink it, smack your lips, and pour yourself another.

You have held back from life long enough in a desire to be safe. What is it you would protect yourself from? From Life? From you?

Although life is not for you to think about overmuch, there is a story for you in every event. There is something for you to glean.

If everything in life that occurs is a metaphor handed to you, you have great opportunity to take the metaphor and see what it is telling you. Even if life were accidental, there are messages planted in it for you to pick up. You do not have to fret that you have taken the right message. Find some meaning in the metaphor, then drop it and move on.

Sometimes you wonder what is the point of it all. A point is a dot in time. You are far more than a mark in time. The point is that you are My child and that you are on earth for Me. That is the point of life, but that does not satisfy you. You want a more definitive answer.

Consider that the point of life is that you are in it, and that it is a privilege to participate in it. More than opportunity, privilege. You chose and were chosen to reveal My glory. That is what you are doing now. That is what you are here for.

Everything in life is for a reason, yet there is no reason, there is no cause, and there is no cause to seek. From the vantage of Earth, there isn't a way to understand all the weaving and interweaving of the Universe and life and your life. Your life can only be a puzzle, not to unwind, but to enter into. Your life is like putting your cards down on the table. The cards cannot always be held in your hands. And yet what is revealed when the cards are put down is a simple number, and no more than that. Who can figure out how those particular cards happen to be the hand you held?

It's a good thing when you don't know what to do, when you don't know what to say or what to write. It is good because then you offer openness. When you know, or know for sure, you offer closedness. And closedness is control. Openness is not.

Of course, openness has to be true. An appearance of openness while you are sure inside that you know the answer is not openness but a manipulation of it.

Innocence is unknowing. Innocence is openness. Innocence is the greatest knowledge of all. It is a clean slate. It is openness. It is freedom.

It is not controlling.
