To Live in the World
Never mind the mistakes you make. They add up to nothing. Keep track of other things, beloveds.
Among the mistakes to let go of is attention on less than good health. I say to not dwell on illness. I hear My children go into great detail about an illness or operation. When you do this, your attention supports the illness. Dwell on health instead. Support health. Make a banner in your life in praise of good health. Make no banners about ill health.
Get the roses back in your cheeks with attention on all the good health you have. Pay attention to all the times you feel really good. Which has a higher vibration, health or illness? Health is what you want to talk about, specialize in, just the same way you want to spread all the good news in the world and let the ill news go fallow.
Every time you talk about an illness or how bad you feel, it is as if your words are germs of illness that you seed the world with. You may be talking over the back fence or on the phone or to yourself, it doesn’t matter. Talking about your illness supports the very lack of health that you do not want – you don’t want lack. Let go of the details about your illness or any illness. Even in theory, illness becomes real. Illness feeds itself on your words.
And so it is with the commercials that tell you to take this and take that for the innumerable illnesses the commercials set forth. They are selling you on illness. They are compounding illness. They are making illness a fact of life. They are putting your attention on that which you don’t want. They are glorifying illness, encouraging you to go out and buy a pill to assuage the illness you now believe is surrounding you. Illness is spread in thought, beloveds. Germs are your thoughts too.
Illness starts in thought, words, and emotions. No matter how innocent you are, illness grows from mind, vocabulary, and feelings. The expression, “I don’t feel well,” tells a story. Feel better right now.
You know how much you are influenced by even casual words that someone says. What you speak influences you as well. Talk to yourself in the way you want to go.
Do not build a stage for illness. You don’t need illness. You don’t have to have it. It does not belong to you. You don’t need to fill your mind with it or anyone’s mind with it.
This goes for all your troubles. It goes for anything you call trouble. You strengthen it by thinking about it, worrying about it, talking about it. I will give you a bumper sticker that says: “Think health.”
I will remind you of the saying: “If you can’t say something good, don’t say anything at all.” This applies on many levels.
Let go of warnings and cautions. They turn into threats. Do not warn your children that if they don’t wear a hat, they will catch a cold. Where is that written? Do not warn your children of germs and strangers because you culture that which you do not want. You culture fear, beloveds, and fear attracts what is feared.
When you want your child to put a hat on, say: “Let’s put your hat on so you’ll be warm.”
When you want your child protected on his way home from school, ask him to come right home so you can give him a hug.
Start making it easy to live in the world.
