Gloria to God:

Dear God, Karen has said that part of being in one's truth is setting limits. This has been hard for me to do, though I did learn to do that in my career counseling business. Otherwise, I was just a fool. I understand so much better now. Being a fool was external. What mattered was my not being in my truth.

God:

When you deny your truth, it is much like Peter's denying Jesus.

Denying your truth is a form of lying. All denial is a form of lying and weakens you.

Do not deny the Christ within you. Do not deny that you are My holy child and that you are worthy of your space on earth and in Heaven.

How you treat yourself is how you treat others, sooner or later, one way or another.

Ask Me to help you honor yourself. Say:

"Dear Father, I do not always see what is right in front of me. I want to be worthy of You and know my worth to You. My worth to You is the worth that matters.

"This is my offering to you this morning. I offer You my self-worth so that You may bless it and fill my heart with it, along with my love for You and Yours for me.

"Would I insult You by thinking that what you have created is unworthy? Would I accuse you of being a vendor of false goods? Would I judge that You deal in unworthiness?

"I accept that You have reflected Yourself in all of us, that You honor Your creation, and that I can do no less.

"I, too, am Your creation. I will stand tall knowing that is so. I would not put down any part of Your creation. Who would I think I am to do that?

"I will not sell short any part of Your creation, including myself who really belongs to You.

"You are my Father, and I will not deny my nobility and the rights that go with it.

"You have placed me on earth for reasons I know not, but I do know I am here for a purpose, and I will find it and bring You glory by fulfilling it. I do know it has to do with serving You and Your creation.

"Until I know my specific purpose, I will look for every opportunity to love myself and value my existence. Therefore, I allow myself to see truth and respond to it.

"I thank You for my existence, and I will make it serve You."

Gloria:

According to A Course in Miracles, Teacher's Manual, page 19, a teacher of God gives healing but does not control the receiving of it. That would be hanging on to a gift instead of giving.

Dear God, is everything to change our thinking?

God:

Thought creates. You have always had that power. With shift in your thinking comes shift in your life. Of course, life shifts your thinking as well. But don't think, What is my lesson? What mistake did I make here?

Just have the idea that you will profit from every occasion and every person, and that is the truth. Everything is for something.

Gloria to Mother Divine:

Dear Mother Divine, I have been feeling a little roughness. Coming to you now is like coming to a harbor.

Mother Divine:

You return for a visit to the harbor you came from. That is solace, and the only real solace there is.

God and I are harbors. That is just right. You come for repair. You need an adjustment. This is where you come. You need a rest? Come here.

We are your harbor. We are your mooring place. We are your anchor as well, but not an anchor that holds you tight, but one that hastens you on your way. You could say that God and I are the keel of your ship.

You may wear a captain's uniform, but Who steers the ship if you but listen? Who radios you? Who guides your course?

Gloria:

Dear Mother Divine, I wonder why some people have such hard lives, and how do they rise above them? Karen, for instance, did not have it easy at all. She didn't have the love every child should have, and look at the love she gives and what she has become!

Mother Divine:

She has become what she is. And she had God's love rescuing her in the midst of turmoil.

You, Gloria, even stopped your breathing from fear, and you will teach others not to fear.

The suffering is not a requirement, but it can be turned into light.
