The Summer of Your Life

God said:

Whatever your heart is aching about, it doesn’t have to. Aching hearts are perturbed hearts. It is not some great thing to have an aching heart. It is not a preventive nor is it a cure. Whatever ache your heart carts around, it spills over onto the world. Your heartache is like rain that falls and reaches many.

Your heart does not have to ache. It is not a mandatory condition of life that your heart ache and therefore need to be soothed. Your heart does not have to be so affected by whatever enters or exists in your world. Ache does not have to dominate your heart. You do not need to harbor ache in your heart. Your heart is not intended for hurt. Your heart is for bigger things than common ache.

Has not your heart been aching? It may be easy for your heart to be bruised. If your heart has been bruised, you do not have to keep looking at the wound nor touching it. The very tenderness of your heart is to make your heart resilient. Let your beautiful heart empty itself of ache. Be not heart-sore. Let your heart be tender and not bruited by every wind that blows. Beloveds, do not manufacture heartache. Do not be receptive to it. Do not encourage it. Do not think you have to have it.

An aching heart does not make you a hero or heroine. When the engine of your car sputters or stalls, you do not think it is a wonderful drama to be upheld. Your car simply is not behaving. You take it in to be fixed as quickly as possible.

Consider heartache rust, and remove it as soon as possible. There is nothing great about having rust.

A broken heart? You say your heart is broken? Well, then, beloveds, put the two pieces back together without further ado.

Your heart may be tender, but it is also mighty. Let your heart be soft, and let it bend, and let it not injure itself. Let your heart bask in joy, not injury. Let not your heart be like the princess in the story of The Princess and the Pea. Rather, let your heart be like The Little Engine That Could.

Do not be a bleeding heart who takes everyone’s woes unto itself. That is not valor. Hearts are not meant to snivel. They are not meant to be weak sisters. Hearts are meant to be brave. Your heart is meant to be brave. Your heart is not to be sidetracked into pitifulness. When you pity yourself or another, you are not doing justice to your heart. Life is not meant for suffering, nor is your heart, nor is another’s. Let all hearts get up off the couch of commiseration and start walking across green fields.

Your heart is meant to be a charger that leaps over fences. It is meant to be the lead singer in a band. It is meant to be a flag-bearer. It is meant to be the prow of a great ship. Your heart was never meant to be weak-kneed. You may have pulled in somewhere, hooked your heart up to a tank of woe, and pumped woe. Beloveds, hook your heart up to joy, and fill it to the brim.

Your heart is your God-connection. Connect your heart to Mine then and not to woe.

You are meant to get up and rise now to the fullness of life. Live a heartfelt life and not one of tragedy nor melodrama. The way a dog shakes off water from his coat, shake off any dismalness from your heart.

You are entering a higher realm now, so enter. Leave heartache behind. There is no good use for it. The summer of your life is here now. Leave everything behind. Take nothing but joy with you. What else is there for you to do?.

it is funny, odd, as we look

it is funny, odd, as we look at not who we are but who we think we are - and funny, comical, as we look lightly at what's been perceived and felt as a "broken" "heavy" "wounded" Heart...this leads me to add here a recent writing i wrote (or that wrote me) while listening to a Shakira song in spanish that's entitled "Donde Estas Corazon" (Where Are You, My Heart?)...this made me think of two things...how we are always in search of our happiness and can be made to be sooo sad through limited perception and then also how perhaps our Soul or Spirit/God could say the same thing to us as we are seemingly "lost" in the world...like the prodigal Daughter/Son that seeks outside while, all the while, truth and love and abundant joy reside, within...like the quote says, "to not go within, is to go without"...anyway, thanks again for such beautiful offerings...michael

"Where are you, my heart?"
It has been said
We'll always continue
In one way or another to say

Unless peace
Love
Contentedness
Is the way of our day

For what greater order is there?
Where else can our heart be?
But Here, Now?
As Us awakening, Aware

That this, our Heart, Is Who We Are
Awaiting on us and not the other way around
To come around
To Hearing, Feeling and Seeing; To Being

Key-phrases I'm going to remember :

"Your heart does not have to be so affected by whatever enters or exists in your world."

"Live a heartfelt life and not one of tragedy nor melodrama."

"The way a dog shakes off water from his coat, shake off any dismalness from your heart."

Maria, the key-phrases you

Maria, the key-phrases you picked out are so wonderful.

Yes, more of these thoughts. I want to remember them too.

Dear mama, when I translate

Dear mama, when I translate Heavenletters, I'm tempted to underline some phrases but I'm not allowed to "taint" God's words. So, I decided to comment on Heavenletters from now in this place, by highlighting phrases that stick to my mind.

Immense,orange love from Athens!!
Maria

Dearest Maria, I too was

Dearest Maria,
I too was tempted to underline or make some sentence finish with a "!", but probably these are things which touch us particulary in that moment. I love your pointing out "special quotations" out of a HL. It's beautiful and very useful because they turn up in our mind and heart whenever we need them. As for me what is turning up most in these days is when God tells us: "Don't think you have to have it" what ever it might be, it reminds me of my choices. Another one is when I am adressing God or searching for Him, just saying: "Dear God, Love of my life.." it encompasses everything, I just have to say it, think of it or write it down and there He is right in my heart with all His amazing Love and Sweetness. Many thanks again dear Maria. These quotations would be also wonderful for the bumper stickers !!
A dear hug to you from Milan to Athens !!

Hey,Milano! Congratulations

Hey,Milano! Congratulations for the Cup!
Oh, I love your country and I love its people! You are amazing people!

Thanks for the hug, dear neighbour! A warm hug was just what I needed right now!

How come I didn't know you were from Italy? I know. Your english has tricked me. Your writing is SO impeccable that it made me mistake you for an American!

Now, about the quotations. How many times does God have to tell us "Don't think you have to have it"? Just a minute ago, I wrote that I feel lonely and I expect people to care more about me. Grrrr....these expectations.
I deeply thank you for the reminder, Berit. It brought me back to balance and sovereignty because I was feeling like a victim. According to me, "Don't think you have to have it" tops the list of God's hints to us.

Love from Athens!

Dear Maria, in fact Italy is

Dear Maria,
in fact Italy is very beautiful, but what to say of Greece?? I hope to visit your country some day, it has a strange beautiful attraction. Athens must be simply wonderful ! I did see a concert in TV of Yanni (wonderful heavenly music), right under the Acropolis, it was beyond words. Magic.
About feeling lonely, I know how it feels dear, lonely or feeling to small for all the things I should see to, ecc. When I give my lonelyness to God, He tell's me that we are LOVE, we are ONE LOVE, it's our very essence, it is our perception that is not focused on Him, but the love bond is always there, we just have to tune in. I try to look at God when I'm not ok, and He helps saying to me: Look at Me my child, look at Me well, keep looking at Me. It helps to feel home again, to feel Him in my heart.

So, from Milan my love reaches you to give you a dear hug!!

All my love to you dear Maria

Dear neighbour, Berit,

Dear neighbour, Berit,

Athens is really wonderful, if you focus on the positive aspects and never mind about the flaws. The same applies to all cities of Earth, I think.

Don't think too much about it! Just hop to your east and come in the summer! You will absolutely love the islands! You should also visit the Parthenon. These stones are like crystals. They contain codes and information stored for thousand of years, that's why everyone visiting this sacred place, feels a kind of magnet-like attraction. The Acropolis as many other sacred monuments across Earth is built on a nodal point of the grid. It's a must-have experience to "connect with" these stones!

"Look at Me my child, look at Me well, keep looking at Me. It helps to feel home again, to feel Him in my heart."

Do you mind my borrowing your thoughts? They resonate so deep within me! Thank you, very much! I'll say these words every time I feel disconnected and disappointed from the people around me.

Love from Athens!

Maria

Dear Maria, well, let's see

Dear Maria, well, let's see who of us hops where, may be you will come to italy first....
dear you don't need to borrow anthing, God is yours as you and He and we all are one. He uses His children in many different ways, so, just keep looking at Him and hear Him whispering softly to you.
All my love
Berit

Let your heart bask in joy,

Let your heart bask in joy, not injury. Let not your heart be like the princess in the story of The Princess and the Pea. Rather, let your heart be like The Little Engine That Could.

I confess - I have been the princess and the pea kind of heart. And I am sure there were good reasons why I have lived this way for many years......but I know how basking in joy feels, and it is too wonderful to spend any more time as the sensitive princess. Toot toot, here I come.....Diane Trieb
