He who gives blessings is blessed.

It is that simple. In the giving is the blessing.

He who restrains from blessing is restrained and estranged.

What do you think it means to have a pure heart? All a pure heart can do is bless. The heart's very nature is to give, and what better can a heart give than a blessing?

A blessing is a joining.

A blessing is more than a wish for something good. A blessing is an acknowledgement of the good that already exists. A blessing points to a blessing already bestowed. The act of blessing is a way to draw attention to the good that is already inherent. It is a recognition of Truth.

I bless you with the ability to bless.

I made you a blessing. My act of creating you was My blessing made manifest. You may have thought of yourself as more of a stumbling-block than a blessing. Now you will recall that you are a blessing. This is what you are. And this is what you do.

You walk through a room, and you bless it with your presence. You leave blessings in your path.

When you feel joy, you are doing nothing but blessing the universe.

When you feel joy, you are doing nothing but being true to your nature.

With joy is the only way to bless. Blessing through gritted teeth is not blessing. It is a mere attempt. Blessing is easy, or it is not blessing.

Let your eyes be eyes that fill with joy no matter who walks past. Whoever crosses your path was sent to you also as a blessing, so allow yourself to reap the blessing.

Decipher the messages brought to you with your heart.

Whatever causes you apparent pain has been misread.

Whoever causes you emotional pain has been misunderstood and devalued. Such pain is a reminder to you that you have somehow missed the point.

If you would but consider whatever comes to you as a wave from an ocean of love, you would not be so overcome by the thoughts that you accrue to one wave or another.

Have you not misunderstood offers of friendship in the past?

What is it you fight when you shadow-box?

What overtures to the universe are you making?

What welcome mat have you put out at your door?

That which you pursue pursues you.

You who crave grace so much are learning to be gracious. If someone is rude — which is to say unthinking or focused on only one track — bless them with graciousness rather than something else. Give to another all that you desire for yourself. Why let someone else deplete you? Instead let them remind you of the grace of God that lies within you and bless them for the opportunity they give you to reach more deeply within your pockets for greater treasure of yourself.

Taking things personally is nothing more than thinking about yourself overly much. Now think about yourself in new ways. Start thinking: "What can affront the grace of God? Who can take grace away from a child of God? Who can disturb my acquaintanceship with God?"

Bestow blessing, not authorship of power over you. Better to give blessing than authority. Choose what you will give to another. No matter what comes in to you, you are the decider of what you give out. A gracious queen is gracious. Graciousness depends upon nothing but itself.
