To make huge sums of money for the sake of making huge sums of money is not enough. You may say you want millions so you can do a lot of good, and you may well do a lot of good, but that is not your motivation. That is more a noble alibi.

Please do not think that I do not understand your financial situations and your dilemmas and your burdens. I am not opposed to your having money and making money. When it is fun for you, do it. When it opens your heart, do it. When you enjoy the process, go for it. Be sure you enjoy the race. Be sure it is your race and not one imposed on you. Be sure it is your desire and not just another thing you have spent your money on only to be disappointed.

It has been said it is well to donate money anonymously. I will also say to make money anonymously, not in a cloud of dust, not in a parade, not as a performer, not as a miracle-worker, not to be exalted, not to say, "I did it.", well, actually not for gain.

I am sometimes surprised how often money seems to be the carrot in front of My children. And when you get it, it turns out to be only a carrot.

Money is like a delicious meal. How you look forward to the feast before you! You cannot wait. And then you eat the delicious meal. Once possessed, it is not quite what it was when you were hungry.

Have you perhaps waited for your life to begin as soon as your pockets are well-lined?

As much or as little as you enjoy life with little money, that is how much you will enjoy life with much. Money does not make you more holy or less holy. Money is not the making of you. You are you with cash in your pocket or with holes. You are you right now. Be magnanimous now.

Life is not about making money, though it may seem that way. If money is the focus of your life, you may be shortchanged. Money is meant to be your servant, not you its.

Money is something you pick up on the way of life. The measure of money is really just the measure of money. And yet it certainly seems to be something more. Money talks in the world, and you want a voice. Money carries weight. Money opens doors. Money greases the wheel.

And you want to be on easy street. I want that for you as well. Be on it with or without cash or credit or gold or diamonds. Make life easy now. I bless you to all kinds of wealth. Choose that which nourishes you.

Consider money like a career. Choose that which is meaningful to you. That is the measure of it. The amount of money is not the measure of you. Perhaps the means is. Doctor, lawyer, merchant, chief…where does the joy lie for you?

There is a bandwagon in the world, and it calls out to you. Jump on or off at your will, not someone else's.

The world makes money off of you by making you want to buy what it sells.

Find out your values, and go by them. Your values have to be yours, or they are not. Know what you are buying. If you are buying used goods, know it ahead of time.

Focus on giving more than on getting. To the portion you give, you will receive. Give what is yours to give, and that is your heart. It is precious, your heart. Invest it in love.
