The Golden Idol

God said:

What an amazing world of wonders I have created. I amaze Myself at the wonder of My Creation. A flower burst forth into bloom, and it was the Universe, including the galaxies and twirling planets and Earth and all the in between. It included you. From near to far, I created, and I created you to serve the Universe and all within it. I give you the power of mastery of the Universe, yet you must know that does not mean to rule. That means to serve. Serving is service. Beloveds, you are in My Service.

How can you rule the Universe, beloveds, when you do not yet rule yourself? Sometimes it might be safe to say that ego rules you. That must be so, or why would there be anger and such? Why would you fly off the handle when you govern yourself?

The thing for you to remember and to ask is: "Whom do I serve? God or ego? Do I serve Greatness, or do I serve littleness? Do I rule, or am I ruled by arrogant ego? Am I self-serving or serving God and His Universe?"

And then you ask Me, or your ego asks Me: "But, God, do not my thoughts create?"

I answer you: "Yes, beloveds, your thoughts create. Have you noticed what some of your thoughts create? Have not some of your thoughts, your ego thoughts, created heartache and dissension in the world? Better not to look at what ego has created. Look at what your nobler thoughts can create. Look at what you can create when you serve Me?"

I ask you to serve the world in My stead. I ask you to stop serving your own ego. The world has been so inundated with ego that the world itself advertises and exalts ego and applauds ego and offers every opportunity for it to flourish. If you have to be the best lover or the best cook or the fairest of all, where am I? What God do you worship, beloveds, when you make offerings to ego?

Ego is the golden idol, beloveds. But, of course, it is a fraud. You think ego serves you, but it serves you not. Ego is the beautiful dancing girl who does not love you. She flirts with you, builds you up with lies, and then steals from you and leaves you demeaned and desolate. Ego humiliates you. Better to be humble before ego gets its hands on you.

When you are truly humble, where can wily ego can a grip on you?

Even be sure, My beloveds, that ego does not dominate your search for Me. Serve Me not for ego's sake so that you can serve Me better than anyone else. Watch out for comparing yourself to others, for you are to be neither above nor below any other servant of God. Be glad to serve, but do not pump yourself up the way a muscle man flexes his muscles. Exercise your service to Me without appearing as a spiritual luminary, not even to yourself. Not even in your own eyes are you to be a celebrity. The first may come last, and the last first.

You need not wear rags, for that may also be ego calling to you to take pride in the fact that you are so humble that you wear rags. Nor are you to wear royal robes so that all may notice your wonderfulness and affluence and bow down to you. Better to feed the poor and eat with them.

This is how you learn mastery of the Universe. Abandon ego, and you are arisen.

You and me

"Where is everybody?" Enrico Fermi ( one of the greatest physics of the XX century) once said, wondering why in an Universe so vast, we seem to be so alone. He was thinking of ET, I am not.
There must be some unknown reason.

Accomplishment and Satisfaction.

«What an amazing world of wonders I have created. I amaze Myself at the wonder of My Creation.»

Don't you sometimes experience this upliftment when you create something (a painting, a garden, a writing—the list is endless) that amazes you when you look at it (listen, touch, etc.) as if it was someone else's work that you contemplate and love?

Nobody else has to tell you how wonderful it is. You feel it, you Know it, you live it. You say it to yourself as if your Oneness was playing Twoness as a Creator and a Contemplator.

Everytime you experience this, you can say without doubt that you are co-creating with God because your creation is a service to God. This sense of accomplishment and satisfaction gives no room to ego.
