The Energy of Christ
Gloria:
Dear God, I certainly don't want anyone to feel turned off when Christ becomes the subject of Heavenletters.
God:
It does not matter the name assigned to Christ. It is not the name that matters. It is the energy behind the name. The essence of thought that this beingness is.
The man Jesus was not more important to Me than you are. You are all equally important to Me. You are all the Sons and Daughters of God. Each one represents the whole. I was not closer to Jesus than I am to you. The difference is that he knew his closeness to Me.
You can do that too. You are doing that. You will come so close to Me that you will see We are One. You won't know anything but Oneness.
How lovely is Our Union.
Our Union is not only Oneness of Being but also Oneness of Purpose.
When I say, I love you, we imply that something moves or is moved from one place to another, like I over here give you over there My love. This is the relative truth.
When I say I am love, you are love, we are love, We love, the love doesn't have to move anywhere. We are pure being. Love is. It stands still. It does not transfer from one place to another. That is closer to absolute truth.
In Oneness, there is not the movement. It is a state from which movement can issue. Imagine the beauty of movement when it comes from Oneness.
L. to Gloria:
Hi, Gloria. I have been receiving Heavenletters regularly since Jan. 25th. I read them every day and they present a new possibility to my way of thinking. I know God as HUGE and somewhat mysterious…it is totally unfamiliar to me to hear God so "down to earth" (excuse the pun) and through another vehicle other than my own experience. I know there are a lot of folks out this way that are uplifted, stretched and often healed by reading the letters…so I keep reading them too. I tend to be a pretty private person so I don't see myself asking any questions…but never say never.
Many people are being helped by your work. Keep it up.
God to L.:
My dear child, L., Gloria missed a point of your email, but I do not. Gloria missed that you were saying that Heaven doesn't take your breath away. It hasn't uplifted or stretched or healed you, but, because you are aware that it has swept up other hearts, you graciously hang in there, waiting, perhaps hoping that you too will have an experience that will touch your heart, perhaps even make you weep with joy.
Those who are struck with Heaven, it is their experience. It is not someone else's experience. It is theirs. My voice strokes their heart or undoes a block, and they know it.
Gloria heard you say that you read Heaven every day, and her heart leapt. She heard you say that Heavenletters presents a new way of thinking for you, and she was satisfied. She didn't hear you say that you do not feel as connected to Heavenletters as many do, and wouldn't it be fine if you could.
But Gloria was right to feel that it is beautiful for you to be where you are.
I never said that Heavenletters had to have a tremendous effect on you. It does not have to be an earth-shattering experience or even a rumble. Whatever it is, it is your experience. Truly, L., all it needs is for you to read it, as you are, and some of the new possibilities for thinking will click into your heart. Soon, when you are not expecting or even asking, you will begin to feel a tiny echo of My love in your heart through Heaven. Pretty soon you will feel My companionship in My words, not as an overwhelming experience, but more as a simple comforting one, more as a softness, more as a slightly different lens in your camera, more like a softer seat you sit on, more like air wafting around you. It will not be a momentous experience, but a nice one nevertheless, one you may see more in retrospect than in the moment. But in this slight shift, this slight awareness, your life will be changed forever.
I have an idea. Will you put together a necklace from one idea, or one sentence, or one word in each Heavenletter, collect a gem or anything at all from each one, write it down in a notebook, and actually place your selections as pearls in a lovely necklace on your paper? Whenever you think you have enough for a necklace, you will have a poem.
Send in that poem, if you will, so that it can be shared, and so you will hearten others' hearts.
L., is there someone you know who might possibly appreciate Heavenletters? Is there one Heavenletter or part of one you might want to share with someone else? Whom would you like to read Heavenletters?
You have read in Heaven comments from people who are ecstatically affected by it, and Heaven hasn't had that kind of effect on you. There are plenty of Heavenreaders who do not send in letters at all, and your letter speaks for them.
Nonexpectation has been a theme of Heavenletters, and so you remind Me to make clear that even in regard to Heavenletters, there is no expectation. There is nothing that has to be, dear L. With or without noticeable Heaven effects, I AM, and I am with you, and you are with Me.
I bless you, My child L., and I thank you for being a diamond in My heart.
