To any adversity or disappointment that comes your way, what if you just say to it, "Okay". Shrug your shoulders if you must, but say, "Okay," and go on from there. This is how you can let go of the past before it is accumulated.

Consider that your entry to a new day is a dance. With what kind of step do you enter this day of days? Do not hold back. Set the beat that signals your entrance. When you have entered your day, you are in the midst of it.

There are no halfway measures. You can rest, but you cannot skip a day. Even if you sit it out, it is still your dance. The music plays. You participate in your day one way or another. This dance is yours. Your name is on the dance card. Signal the band what to play.

How you live your day is like a weather report. Are not your moods changeable like the weather? You are, of course, much more than any daily report of your moods. Your life is much more. Moods are passing things. They are merely rooms you walk through. The walls are painted different colors. But, whatever the color of the room you stand in, you are you. You are indelible. Your immutable soul is in My keeping.

What it comes down to is that life is you and I. All else is scenery. Beneath the driftwood of life, there is you, and there is I. Naught else. Everything else is a ship passing in the night, and is gone. But you and I are always. Inextricable are We. Inseparable are We. Our hearts are true. We exist as One. We are immersed in Our love. We cannot do otherwise. You may imagine otherness for a while, but it always comes back to you and Me.

Life teaches you this. Everything else may come and go like waves in and out. Friends come and go. Money comes and goes. Moods. Circumstances. Your body changes its shape. But regardless of the ebb and flow, you are still you, and I am I. We are. And We are irrevocable.

Our state of Oneness is not something you have to maintain. Nothing can shake it.

The easiest thing in the world to ask for is that you follow My Will. It takes no effort to desire that My Will be done. You need not desire more or less of anything else. Despite all your imaginings, there is nothing else. We are all that is. Anything less than My Will amounts to work for you. My Will is easy. You follow My Will by willing it. There is nothing else for you to will. You are in My hands. Inalterably, you come with Me.

You do not even need to will to give love, for it is My Will that you know and give love. It is enough to ask for My Will to be done, for that covers it. My Will is the only Will to be followed. You may make scratch marks on My Will and call it yours, but nevertheless My Will will be done.

When you depart from My Will, you come back again. When you believe in power other than Mine, you depart from your own will as well, for a time. Ego is not your will. You may embrace it despite your will. You may fuss and fight My Will, but whatever your antics, you return to the strength of My Will. That is your destiny. And it is high. Your destiny of love is a foregone conclusion. It is inevitable. You cannot prevent it. Whether you go circular or straight, My Will is your destiny, and My Will be done.
