The Art of Seeing
The Garden of Eden is a metaphor, as all words are metaphors, as everything on Earth is a metaphor. Metaphors hold Truth, and there are great metaphors that hold Great Truth. And you are a metaphor, and you are a great holder of Truth.
That's it! You are a human metaphor. Metaphors in poetry say that two seemingly dissimilar things are alike. Metaphors speak of opposites. And yet there is also likeness. And equality. There is something true. The Truth is that all the people in the world are One. No matter how unique, no matter how opposite, everyone is One, One with you, and One with Me. Oneness, Oneness, Oneness. The Truth of Life is Oneness.
Disparity is not Truth. Untruth is that One is many. One is One, and, yet, in form, many battle this out.
When you read a metaphor in poetry, you look for the Truth. The Truth may be like a seed. Now as you see each human being you see, you look for Truth, you look for similarity, you look for Oneness. Find the metaphor.
It can be said that the world, as it is seen, is a poser. I am liking to say today that the world, as it is seen, is a metaphor. It is a beautiful metaphor for what is beautiful. It is a hut that is truthfully a mansion, and it is My mansion. Pain is a metaphor. Colors are metaphors. All words are vibrations, and words are metaphors for vibrations. I am taking you into the unreality of life on Earth, the fiction of life on Earth, the semblance of life on Earth. I am taking you into the center of the Earth and the peaks of Heaven.
Poets take words that are not seen as of similar meaning, and they put the two words together, and, click, there is a deeper look, and a deeper insight, and dross becomes gold.
I am a poet, and you are a poet. You may be a poet of mixed metaphors. Indeed, you have mixed up a lot. Now I am offering you the opportunity to become a greater poet of life. I am offering you the opportunity to gain connectedness to what are called opposites. I am offering you an opportunity to turn tin into gold. I am offering you an opportunity to cast light before yourself and, therefore, the world.
I give you My eyes to see. I give you a poet's eyes. Poets see what most do not see. I am giving you the vision to see. I am giving you the apparatus of love. I am giving you a workout in love. I am giving you metaphors that will stir your heart and will bring love to the Earth like falling snowflakes.
I am giving you a frame of reference.
What shall I not give you? What have I not given you? What is it that you lack except the art of seeing?
Notice that you are a poem, made by a Great Poet. You are made of many metaphors. Seen from the world view, you are made of opposites. You contain opposites within you. All these many vibrations vibrate within you and outside of you. Which are within you, and which are outside you?
I will tell you. There is no outside you. There is no outside. All is within. I am within you. You are having this dream of opposites, and you are waking up. There are no alarm clocks. There are birds singing, yet, even so, it is you who has to awaken yourself.
It is time to get up, beloveds, and recognize metaphors and the Truth of you.
