Standing in the Doorway
Beloved Child, you stand in the doorway. I ask you to come in, yet you stand in the Doorway of Heaven as if you did not know you had the right place. You wander around outside, hesitant to ring the doorbell. Even if you did not have the right place, still, press your finger on the doorbell. I assure you that you do have the right place, but even if you did not, ring the bell that brings Heaven to your door, beloveds.
You have been mixed up as to where you are. You think you are outside something. You think you are outside My heart when you are the very substance of it.
Beloveds, when you have hit a score in the world, you gain a sense of what it feels like to be in Heaven. It is just that you have misread the street signs. You may have thought that success in the world is Heaven. Success in the world is not opposed to Heaven. It is quite agreeable to Heaven. Yet, please know, all imagined doors do lead to Heaven. Heaven has no doors, of course, and yet all doors bring you to awareness of the Entrance to where Heaven already is.
By now you realize that the Entrance to Heaven, by whatever name it may be called, is your heart. The Portals of Heaven are your heart. You closed the imaginary doors yourself, or you closed your eyes to Heaven's portals, perhaps to the very existence of Heaven.
How many ways can it be said? The Kingdom of Heaven lies within you. Where could that be but within your heart, for within your heart lies Mine. Come, make friends with yourself. Ring the doorbell of your heart. Let it resound over the world. Let it resound in Heaven.
You may stay where you think you are, or you may step out of the bog you think you are sitting in. It is up to you, beloveds. I have laid out the red carpet for you. I have strewn rose blossoms to lead you to Me. You can't miss. You only have to venture forth and leave those old boundaries. What purpose have they served but to keep Heaven hidden from you? And yet you tend to see those old boundaries as a comfortable rocking chair, so familiar are the boundaries to you, so laden have you been with them. The boundaries are like vines that have grown over your eyes.
Please understand, beloveds, I am not asking you to trade in the world for Heaven. We don't have to make a swap. Have Earth, have Heaven. Have peace and happiness regardless of where your feet are. Certainly, dancing exists on Earth, and you can keep it. Certainly singing exists on Earth, and you can sing to your heart's content. So far you have not sung to your heart's content. I am suggesting that you sing and dance to your heart's content. "Have more," is what I am saying. I am offering you the deal of a lifetime. Come here with Me.
Waste not your beautiful heart for one more moment. Start exploring the terrain of Heaven. Open that heart of yours wide. Take a chance. What if Heaven is right before you? Take one more step in My direction. Please come in. Will you not come in?
Here I am. I beckon to you. Throw out all that old stuff you've been storing in your heart. It is riff-raff. Throw out those old scarves you've laden yourself with. Open the windows of your heart wide. Wheel open your heart, and Mine within yours. Let Our One Heart be known. See it for yourself first. Open those shutters. In some cases, you have battened down those imaginary doors to Heaven. You have nailed them shut. You slammed a door of your own making, locked it shut, and threw out the key.
But you need no key to open your heart to Me. You just open it, and then see the world you see.
