The material world has its place, but it is not the making of you. The material world has its importance and yet it is not the power that you like to think it is. How dependable is the world, after all?

You spend your life at a movie, and all the colors and actions and ins and outs seem real to you while you are the movie. The movie screen becomes the whole wide world. What appears on the screen is a passing fancy, a made-up thing for you to gaze at for a little while. And then you leave. Everybody leaves.

Remind yourself that there is a God Overall.

What are you thinking about today? If you are thinking about problems, switch to something else. Switch to desires. Switch to love.

At every moment you have an occasion for love. Love even your problems, for they are urging you forward, the way a jockey would spur on a horse. Without what you see as impediments to your evolution, you might not evolve. You might keep yourself out of action. You might wander off and twiddle your thumbs or never leave where you are.

You are miracle. You do not always know what a beautiful being you are. Is it not a miracle that apples grow from a mere tree? That from a mere seed a tomato comes? Is it not all miracle, My beloveds. You are no less than an apple core or a tomato seed. Such greatness resides in you.

No matter how lowly-appearing, how insignificant-appearing, you and everyone else are seeds of magnificence. You are My seed.

You are overwhelmingly powerful. A glance from you can shrink or nurture. You can shrink a flower or you can help it blossom. You can make a child happy or unhappy. Have you not?

Assume you are unboundedness. Unboundness means no barriers. The truth is that there are no barriers. All barriers are illusions. They are painted cardboard fences that you think are stone.

There is no barrier that you cannot break through, climb over, walk around. Barriers exist only in your mind. Someone said they were there, and you accepted that they were. You set up the supposed barriers, or someone else did.

Barriers are a deck of cards. Your breath can blow them over without a backward glance.
