Removing Obstacles
You would like all obstacles removed from your life, and, if you asked Me, I would say to you, "Remove them."
You may respond to Me: "God, couldn't You remove them from me for me?"
Yes, I remove obstacles through you.
Every boundary in the world is for you to remove, for the hitch is in you.
You are responsible for everyone and everything. This is not new, yet We have to be clear on what We are talking about here. You are responsible for the world and every event in it, the events you scoff at and grouse about as well as the beauty. You are responsible. Responsibility, let Us be clear, does not mean blame. Blame is something you impose. Whether you impose the blame on yourself or someone else, you are mistaken. Responsibility does not carry a rider called blame. No guilt trips allowed, no accusations either. Raise your thoughts.
Now, at the same time as I say you are responsible for everything, you do not have ultimate control of everything. What you call good fortune and misfortune find their way to you. You are the receiver. At the same time you are not the decider. You are not the ultimate decider. Nor do I set out and make a list of events to occur and set them at your feet. I do not set up boundaries. Boundaries are obstacles, and obstacles are within you.
Your definitions are not always accurate. You are, however, the definite decider of how you look at life and what occurs in it. In this way, you decide every turn of your life. Your life is the picture you make of it, your perception makes of it.
Start thinking of yourself as the luckiest person in the world and those around you and far from you as the luckiest people in the world, and you will see good luck all over the place because you are the perceiver of it, and, so, you become a blessing. This is not far-fetched, this what I am saying. You make your own reality, so make what you want.
You identify tragedy. You know I am going to say that death of the body is nothing but death of the body. It certainly is not the tragedy you see it as.
Death often seems to result from illness or accident, yet, you cannot trace how the illness nor accident happened, nor should you. At the same time, acquaint yourself with the idea that there are no bad guys. Not you, not heredity, not ill-will, not even illness. Consider that there is no fault. What occurs is not your fault nor is it someone else's fault. Let go of the whole concept of fault. Responsibility is not a heavy load you are meant to carry on your shoulders. Responsibility affirms the power of your thoughts and all your thoughts foisted upon the world.
You have ultimate responsibility for everyone and everything, and, yet, every so-called individual is also responsible for himself. I repeat, you are not lord and master over anyone but yourself. You are responsible for everyone at the same time as you take your hands off other's lives.
Taking hands off means, for one thing, that you do not criticize others. You are not better or smarter than anyone else. Even if, by everything you know, you are better and smarter, never bash another with your words or deeds. Even if, by all you know, you are better, you are not superior. Have respect for others, and you will gain greater respect for yourself.
Humility is respect. Caviling is not respect. Gossip is not respect. Anger is not respect.
You impact your life, and you impact the live of others. Have respect for others in life. Have respect for life. Have respect.
