I have a difficulty to translate this expression.Can you pls give me an explanation.

That you can imagine other things besides love is well-documented, but why document folly?

Document would mean keep records.

We sort of document the past. We hold on tight to hurts etc. We can list all the unhappy and unworthy things that happened to us. We have such a good memory when it comes to what has hurt us. We have plenty of evidence and documentation of it.

I believe God is saying that, since only love exists, everything else is folly -- foolishness.
And why should we keep a record and remember and hold on to past offenses when there is only love anyway.
