printer-friendly version

You may not have noticed it, but since a few days it does not say "God said" in the printer-friendly version, but Proofed Proofed and Date written: . . . .

Yes, beloved Luus, I did not

Yes, beloved Luus, I did not notice. Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention.

Heaven Admin will know how to fix this. It is essential that God said appears before every Heavenletter.

Thanks!

Thank you, dear Luus.

You're always aware of important details!
Normally I automatically put these Words before a Dutch translation, but I will pay extra attention now.

I don't know what happened

I don't know what happened to the printer-friendly version, but it starts looking more like the version on the website and it takes two pages now instead of one to print.

And I forgot to mention that

And I forgot to mention that last night when I wanted to go on the website and clicked on Community, there was a message saying that there was a fatal error which had to do with Drupal.

And just now I have the same

And just now I have the same problem but here is what the message is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function url() in /home/drupal5/d5modules/path_redirect/path_redirect.module on line 45

Same problem and same

Same problem and same message.

Printer Friendly Version

Dear Santhan, The "New" printer friendly version takes two pages to print because there is extra information there. The only way I can print it on one page is to use the tiniest text size! I wouldn't print it at all except that Jerry and I like to read it together, so I print it off when I get up early in the morning and we share it when he gets up. I don't think the printer friendly version needs to include all this information, do you? See below. If this information all has to be there, could you put it on fewer lines and in smaller type? And what about "God said"?
We are so grateful for all that you do and we know that you are in favor of saving paper and ink when we can.
With love, Margaret and Jerry Weiner

I'm so glad that I am not

I'm so glad that I am not the only one, for I print all Heavenletters twice to send them to my friends in prison, and now I need twice as much paper and more stamps and bigger envelopes.

It is not only the extra information that makes the printer-friendly version longer, but als the space between the paragraphs.

I intended to wait till Monday to send Santhan a reminder, for I have the distinct feeling that it also slipped his mind to change the text in the templats of the Dutch Heavenletter.

So dear Santhan, I know that you're very busy, but if you could fix it, it would be very much appreciated.

With love,
Luus

Thanks to Margaret's post

Thanks to Margaret's post and your post, the printing has been fixed! Thank you for your alertness. God bless you.

And now the template will be taken care of.

Heaven Admin does the work of ten people, I'm not kidding. He'll get the Dutch template done, dear Luus.

Not yet, dear Gloria, it

Not yet, dear Gloria, it still takes two pages and the errors are still there.
I'm sure dear Santhan will fix it soon and I will be patient.

Love,
Luus

Soon then, dear angel. It

Soon then, dear angel.

It is amazing all that Heaven Admin gets done. He always stays up past midnight working -- and, often, past 3 a.m. He applies himself all day as well.

It seems to me, Luus, that we have hit the jackpot with angels who take care of everything for us. It is so beautiful. I'm talking about you as well.

God bless you.

With love, Gloria

Printer Friendly version and access to blog from HL link

Thank you, Santhan, for working on this challenge, that the printer friendly version has become not-so-friendly as befpre. The same issues as Luis so graciously brought up are still occurring, such as "God said" is missing, and there is lots of unnecessary information taking up space so that it takes two pages to print the letters instead of one.

Perhaps you are working on the blog page this morning because I cannot access it.. When I try I get this message:

The website declined to show this webpage

What you can try:

A Miracle!

This morning when I started printing today's Heavenletter for my friends in prison, something odd happened. A page appeared where it was possible to choose the size: 100%, 80%, 60% etc. I chose for 80% and the Heavenletter was printed on one single page. It was a true miracle and I have no idea where it comes from, for I did now download any updates during the past few weeks. I use the Firefox browser and my guess is that it came from Firefox. Now when I want to print a Heavenletter it chooses this size automatically.
And I'm very grateful for this miracle. It makes my day.

Who deserves miracles more

Who deserves miracles more than you, Luus? You are always thinking for others. You translate Heavenletters every day, and you print out Heavenletters for God's children in prison.

Will you tell us more about this? Do you send them your printed translations through the mail? Do you take them over? Will you tell us all about this?

A friend of mine here who subsequently became a Unity Minister and moved away used to send Heavenletters to a prisoner on Death Row in a prison in Texas. My friend was sure the man was innocent. The prisoner loved Heavenletters and passed them around to some of the other prisoners. After many years and appeals, he was executed.

God bless you for all that you do, beloved Luus.

Dear Gloria, I told you

Dear Gloria,

I told you about my prisoners before, but since you are such a busy person, you may have forgotten. One is in California and is innocent, and the other one is in Illinois and is guilty. Both have a life sentence.
I was pretty certain that "my" prisoners were the only ones who received Heavenletters, but I'm pleased to hear that more readers forward them to prisoners.
It saddens me to know that so many of them are in prison for a crime they did not commit. My friend in Illinois sent me a booklet with poems written by prisoners who are supposed to have committed the crime they are in for when they were under 18. About half of the participants claim to be innocent.
My friends loved the Heavenletter with the title "Truly, God's Angels", for in it God addresses prisoners directly. My friend in Illinois put it on the wall of his cell.
I used to write to them every week, but that became too much and now I write about every 15 days.

With love,
Luus

Yes, dear Luus, I knew you

Yes, dear Luus, I knew you befriended some prisoners and sent Heavenletters. I don't think I knew any details. I am happy to know more. And so sorry for the situation they find themselves in.

I like the story of a native tribe. When someone stole something, they put the thief in the center of the whole community. Then each person told the thief everything he or she liked about him. How could he steal after that?

Thank you for printing out Heavenletters and the care you give us all.

dear Luus, thanks for

dear Luus,

thanks for sharing, I love that you send Heavenletters to prisoners.

much much love
