[HeavenLetters Board HeavenlettersT Comments] question
Posted January 8th, 2006 by Gloria Wen...
I love your questions that come from translating Heavenletters into Dutch.
I think pollywogs are the same as tadpoles. Little babies who swim before they become toads.
Does that fit?
Emmy, if you include with your question a sentence or two the word appears in, that will give the context of the word as it is being used.
You are doing such a great job.
Thank you so much!
Love and blessings, Gloria

Dear Gloria,
What a find! I just read your first Heavenletter and your/God's words are coming through the darkness loud and clear. Thanks for being such a fine tool. Via your blessed trinity, heart, mind and Spirit, God's word reaches everyone who listens with their blessed Trinity.
LPL,
Joe
[HeavenLetters Board HeavenlettersT Comments] question
Dear dear Emmy,
I believe that Banyan is the name always given to the tree Buddha sat under. However, as I looked it up in Google, I see Bodhi Tree as well as Banyan Tree. In Dutch, what name is given the tree that Buddha sat under? I would think it quite proper to keep the English name in a translation, dear Emmy.
Thank you so much for your conscientiousness.
With love and blessings,
Gloria
