This is a difficult one.
This is a difficult one. 'Hum' is translated into Italian as 'to sing with your mouth closed'. This would make it sound really funny. So I translated it as a 'sound', like this: My words are like a frivolous sound I emit. I call my sound frivolous, but it can only be full of meaning.' - I know idle doesn't mean exactly frivolous, but that's the closest I can get in Italian.
I hope this helps. Of course, there might be a word in Turkish for humming.

There is such a thing as the cosmic hum. Hum here, as it is used in this Heavenletters, is respectful.
God says in this Heavenletter:

I think God is saying that He can hum His songs (without words) for instance, and they still carry great meaning. His song is His song with or without words.
I think when God gives Heavenletters, He is not thinking of how some of His words (at least as I hear them) may pose difficulties for translators!.

I can see why Paula chose frivolous, yet, to my mind, it is not the right word. Idle is not quite the same as frivolous.
Can someone help? I can't seem to find a word that works as well as idle.
Frivolous is kind of like superficial ruffles, not serving a purpose really. Silly even.
Idle is there, not doing anything particular, but still being there, like when you are in your car waiting for someone, your car is in idle. The motor is running, but you're not moving.
I don't have the exact words in front of me now. Let's see if I can go back and find them without losing what I've written here. Apparently, I can't. So please understand I don't have the exact words here.

Since Turkish is not a language which has Latin root, vocabulary is quite different from English, German, Spanish, Italian etc.....
There is not a word exactly equivalent to either idle or frivolous. So I will try to describe the situation with a group of words...Thanks a lot for further explanation. :thumbup:
