NEAT NEAT NEAT :))))
Posted November 18th, 2008 by Engin Zeyn...
Dear All and Dear Gloria,
I am trying to translate the letter no:2911 but I have some trouble with the word "NEAT".
"Answers are neat....."
"It wants to collect all the neat little packages it can, and then close the doors."
What is the exact meaning of neat here? The explanation in the dictionaries does not fit at all.
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove

This is how I see it,
This is how I see it, beloved Engin.
Answers are all neat. They are trim. They have borders, all nice and neat, wrapped up perfectly.
When we have the answers, we're finished with the question.
A question, however, is wide open. It can go in many directions. Questions, as God is talking about them, are not neat. There are many possibilities, and questions open our minds.
It's like with questions, our mouths are wide open. With answers, our mouths are closed. That's it. Finis. We may even grit our teeth, so sure are we that we have the answer.
Answers are too neat. Questions aren't so neat.
Does that help?
Engin Canim, did this help?
