Gloria to God:

Dear God, although I have seen Godspell many times, it wasn't until the other night that I noticed it said several times: Help the prisoners.

God:

When you have your attention on something, you will see more signs of it. The cues were always there. Now you see them. Now you see them as meant for you. You will see more.

Gloria:

Yesterday, the day after I had watched Godspell, I came across a book I had forgotten all about. It was a complicated book about Lightworkers, and I skimmed through it. But there were a couple of things that caught my attention and seemed meant for me. There was a short paragraph that said the reason why the music of the sixties is still popular is because much of that music was God-composed for the purpose of awakening Lightworkers!

The movie, Jesus Christ Superstar, had a huge effect on me when I discovered it a few years back, and then Godspell. I watched Jesus Christ Superstar about a 125 times and Godspell about 30. One night after another, I watched Jesus Christ Superstar. It was not an ordinary movie at the time. But after so many times, it was "over". It was like being in love, and then, after 125 magical times, the magic was gone. It was through Jesus Christ Superstar that I discovered my love for Christ. I had no clue to it before. I don't even know if the love was there before.

God:

It was there.

Gloria:

This all seems so bizarre. Did you compose some of the music?

God:

It is not exactly that I composed the music. But seeds of music were implanted in certain composers before they were born. Just as the seed for magni-Godwriting was implanted in you.

All of My children are seeds blossoming into the flowers that they are.

Gloria:

But everyone can Godwrite.

God:

Everyone can compose music. But not everyone makes it their vocation.

Gloria:

One other thing that book said was that Jesus died when he did because he had finished his work. His work was done. The book said that his work was to enliven the disciples.

God:

His work was to ignite the world.

And, yes, he had to ignite the disciples.

Gloria:

Does everyone die when their work here is done?

God:

That is an oversimplification.

Gloria:

This book said that Jesus had a contract to fulfill, and he fulfilled it.

God:

Here is the downside of books like this one you describe. It makes you curious. What do you need to know all this for? You need to know that you are serving Me. You serve Me best by being in the moment. What more do you need to know? Is it not enough to serve Me?

There is nothing you need to know ahead of time.

Put your attention on knowing Me.

Know Me firsthand.

Know that I know what I am doing.

Know that you are instruments all.

The one contract that all have is to jiggle their memory of Me and reflect Me in their lives. Each of you is part of the whole.

You could say I weave a robe of many colors. Some colors predominate or are brighter, but each color makes the robe beautiful. Without each color, the robe would not be the fullness that it is. It matters not which color you are. It matters that you take your place in My robe.

Your place in My robe is right where you are.

I know what I am doing.

I am the Master Weaver.

You are willing woven threads.

You take My hand to weave you.

Your heart's cry is:

"Dear God, weave Me into what You create. Make me my destined part of the whole. Give me what You want me to do for You so that I may do it. Help me to know what steps to take. Open my ears to hear You, my eyes to see You, my fingers to help You weave. Open my heart to Your call, and help me to stand before You and not lower my eyes, for You want me to look into Your eyes and to imbibe their light and never forget Whose child I am and that I am here for You, and for You alone. Help my eyes to see and my heart to surrender to the love that it is. I am a morsel of You, dear God, and help me to be the great morsel of the Great God that I am. I am content to be Your child in service to You. And that is all that makes me content."

And I say, Rest assured that the hands of My love hold you and My fingers weave you into the beautiful robe I wear.

Margaret to Heavenletters:

Hurrah for Nancy L.! But, don't they have e-mail in prison? Couldn't Heavenleters be e-mailed to one prisoner, then shared? Or, e-mailed to the chaplain, and he could share it? I'm just trying to figure a way to keep it simple and easy. Forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.

Then, maybe, instead of current Heavenreaders sponsoring individual prisoners, they could start with sponsoring the chaplain, which would reach a bunch of people, then, as it caught on, individual prisoner might choose to subscribe so they could ask their own questions, or could request to be sponsored and as donors came forward, they could be assigned from a waiting list… just some random thoughts.

All blessings to Nancy for getting the ball rolling.

Polly to Nancy L.:

Sounds like a good idea. I wonder if prisoners have access to computers in prison? If so it would be much simpler to email them. Also, do prisoners have money? Perhaps they could get together enough for a subscription Say, if there are 20 men on a block, perhaps they could come up with a dollar and some cents. Not saying donations aren't a good thing, but if the prisoners pay just like the outside world, it would give them a feeling of worth.

Just some thoughts I've had on the subject. However it goes, I think it's a wonderful thing.

With love and light.

Nancy L. to Polly:

Dear Polly, thank you for your encouragement, Polly. I heard somewhere that sometimes prisoners have jobs in prison that pay .24 an hour. It takes a long time to come up with just a little bit of money, but one dollar would not be too much to ask after they have had at least a two- week free subscription.

I think that it is really important that they come up with questions because the questions we come up with are very mild compared to the struggles that they are going through, and we want people in prisons to feel that this newsletter is for them. They could be very shy to reveal their innermost thoughts and feelings. It is important that they feel comfortable contributing their thoughts. To me getting some feedback is more important than a donation. I simply would not want to continue to send Heaven unless we got some feedback. I would like some comments after the first week, even if it is only a report of how many have heard or read the letters.

On Monday or Tuesday I will be calling the local prison Chaplain and get some feedback from him. I will keep you posted.

Gloria to Margaret, Polly, and Heavenreaders:

Just want to insert that we are working on finding ways to email prisoners. Meanwhile, God bless Nancy L.

A reporter we contacted who has worked extensively with prisoners said there is no way to email prisoners in prison.

On the net, however, we found an organization that says they will print out emails and forward them to identified prisoners. We've written to this organization to see whether they can and will handle the volume that Heavenletters would entail.

But meanwhile, we need names and prison addresses to send Heavenletters to.

I agree that there has to be some commitment from recipients. If we find we can email, I would not make any prisoner wait until someone donates for his subscription, although donations would be very welcome. I think we need to hear something from recipients so we know they are reading Heaven and want to continue reading Heaven. Their writing something to us, once a month, let's say, could be their commitment and their honor. I don't want to be regulatory on this, but something like that.

From my point of view, whatever the extent of a prisoner's payment, he is entitled to ask questions of God through Heavenletters.

Please know we will pursue every suggestion you give. We will pursue all avenues. Please continue to send your ideas and any contacts you might make or have.

P.S. I am really steamed up about getting Heavenletters to those who may indeed need God's love the most.

Today's Heavenletter was written about a month ago, and yet it is timely!
