Life is made up of the unexpected. If the surface of life were laid out in a perceived orderly fashion, it would not be life, and it would not be so wonderful as you think. Life is not inert. Life is not static. Life in the world is not meant to stay the same.

What is holding on to the past but trying to keep life back, to hold it back from itself, to rein it in, to keep it at a standstill, even when you know you cannot pause life as you do a video? The name of the game of life is movement. And what is movement but change?

Hold change dear, not status quo. Status quo is already the past.

Life is not a still photo.

Life is meant to expand, not to be compressed.

Open your heart to life today as it arrives. It is a great present for you. I gave you life, and I gave you love. Love is permanent, but life on earth is temporary. The past vanishes. Temporariness vanishes. And you are forever. And you are forever Mine.

Whose are you if not Mine? Accept that you are Mine and you will leap mountains. You will jump over the past. You will be midair. You will always be in process of moving in life. The body is physical, and it does your bidding. Your thoughts move, darting around, alighting on this or that for a moment. Emotions flow and discard themselves, but you are eternal. You have immortality. Your body that moves is not immortal. Would you really want it to be? But the Mover of the body and Who is within it are immortal.

What you consider substance is fleeting. You know it's fleeting and that's why you would maintain it all costs. That's why you hold on to illusion. The real gist of life is permanent. That is how there can be no loss. Loss is perceived on earth proving the faultiness of your perception. You come to see that perceived life slips away every day, do you not? Yes, it is fortunate that your perception changes, for it grows.

The cells in your body change. Your view of the world changes. But you are the eternal unchanging. That is how you can move in the world. You move in a field of silence. You are Being that moves around. You are Human Being.

What is permanent cannot be changed. The truth of you is indefatigable. The truth of you is vibrant, effulgent, bright light, ever unfolding on earth. More and more light of your Being enters your life, and your life is not the same. Is that not all right with you?

If your life were perennially the same, what would be the point of it? What could you grow to? What would you advance from and what would you step up to? If you do not grow, you might as well be a wind-up toy. But you are not a wind-up toy and you propel yourself forward. The propulsion of life is forward. You are not meant to go backward into the past. The past is to be stepped out of. You are to step out of it and let it be what it seemed to be but never really was.

The past is slippery. The present is solid.

Even though time does not exist, you do not want to waste it. You are to gulp life, not to stand back from it.

You are a participant in life. You are a player on the field of life. Yes, you observe, but you also experience. You are the experiencer of your life. Your mind tells you what you have experienced. But your mind can change its mind. That is a good thing. Thoughts are not meant to be hammered. They are meant to be free like butterflies alighting.
