ISTANBUL

Dearest Gloria,

We were in Istanbul for a weekend trip.

On the ontherhand HEAVENLETTERS BOOK ONE is as well going on its travels between Ankara and Istanbul. :)

First, Publisher Kuraldisi had sent it back to me with their excuses.

And today it (THE BOOK, I mean My Book) has arrived back again from Istanbul. This time the sender is Publisher GOA, they say they are very sorry and un-able to publish it.

When I was in Istanbul I called at a publisher - AKASA: www.akasa.com.tr - without an appointment and knocked at their door. :)

This time the meeting was more interesting then the all others. There was nobody-authorized in.

I talked to the secretary- a hopless and desperate guy called Ercan. His approach was too pessimistic that I can not describe. :(

We do not know all that your mission has accomplished. Not a publisher yet, but you have planted seeds, Engin. One of those publishers may come back later. If they do or don't, you have done a most wonderful thing.
