INSPIRATION

Gloria,

I know. We never know, but the moment we're "INSPIRED"; which I heard comes from the Latin compound word "IN-SPIRIT" we take charge and start creating.

It is exactly what happens to me when I find inspiration and start painting, there have been times I've painted for hours, so into it, nothing else existed in my mind, just me the moment and the great feeling of love creating gave me.

You know, sometimes I see myself painting huge beautiful murals on billboards and walls in Peru with love messages. That country and many more in the "third world", as superpowers label them, like some sort of pest, need a lot of hope and love, specially its poor class. If you recall my experience last year when I saw the way people lived and the energy reflected in their faces wasn't really the most inspiring in life. That was the only time I felt I didn't want to exist to witness that, but now I see it as a great eye and heart opener, it just poured out all the compassion I never thought had and redirected my course from material succes to simplicity and spiritual success.

Unfortunately we live in a world run by currency, so even if our intentions are those of good and help others, we still need currency to achieve it today, unless it changed back to ancient more simple times when you put in time and effort in return for others time and effort.

The key is not to fosuc the mind on the making the money part, but what we're trying to achieve and the means will come up one way or the other.

Love,

Pedro

I am honored to be the first

I am honored to be the first to post in response to your perceptive thoughtful comment, dear Pedro.

We have to find a way to see some of your paintings. Do you have any scanned? I believe there is a way to post them as attachments here.

Where did the expression "third world" country come from. Of course, as expressed on www.godwriting.org under Point of View, we have so much to learn from all countries. You know what God has to say about focusing on differences. Don't do it, He says.

You are full of compassion.

One of my sisters owned a real estate company. She would train other real estate agents. My sister was not what you would call spiritual, yet she told her trainees to never think about the money they would make when a house sold, but rather to think about the people whom they would make happy. That worked. Counting up the dollars didn't.

Looking forward to more posts from you, dear Pedro.

With love and blessings,

Gloria
