Inserting a Heavenletter
Dear Collegues,
in the community forum, there was a question concerning the earthquake in Kathmandu. God gives an answer to this question

I think, the HL with the answer could and should be published soon. But how can we do this without making an effort in renumbering the existing HL-queue and changing lots of publishing-entries?
It is two questions here, the numbering and the publishing-date.
On top of the list is HL # 5312, to be published on June 11th. I would like to give the HL "Earthquake in Kathmandu" the number 5313 and to set the publishing-date as soon as possible (the day after Gloria and I have re-read the HL and put it in the state to be published).
This means, that we have a day with two publishings. I see it as an extra-edition, like newspapers did it when important things had happened.
I think, we should discuss it in order to find a general solution for inserting HLs.

maybe it is a possibility to send this extra-edition much earlier by adding an A to the number, like #5286A and then inserting it in the listing like that? sending out has to be no problem because you can send out two Heavenletters at once by adding the second text after the first.
Luus did that a couple a weeks ago when due to technical problems a heavenletter could not be send to the Dutch subscribers.
I don't know whether it is technical possibility in the listing, to insert a number with A, but this means that this text can be send out much sooner than Juni 11th...
I can have the text translated before May 16th if necessary or even sooner.
But I'm sure Will or Mauro will know about the listing.

I had never thought of publishing two Heavenletters in one day. This is a great idea!
Here's what I wonder: If we are going to send this out early, let's publish it sooner. I mean, like tomorrow or the next day. Actually, let's say Monday. Whatever the number of the Heavenletter is, could we call this Kathmandu Heavenletter something like Special Edition, the same number as the regularly-published Heavenletter on that day and put an A after the number or some separate code.
Then translators would not have to change a whole bunch of numbers.. Am I missing anything?
We don't want translators who translate ahead to have to change a whole sequence of numbers. The Kathmandu Heavenletter, as numbered, would simply go out along with the translators' regular Heavenletter on the day they send it. It wouldn't matter that the Kathmandu Heavenletter is not in sequence.
This will have to mean extra work for Luus on that day as well as you.. Will you do it, Luus.
I sent the Kathmandu Heavenletter to three newsletters that publish Heavenletters. One published it immediately. Another is scheduling it.The third I haven't heard from yet. My guess is he will just publish it on Monday, his next publishing date.
The point I want to make is that these newsletters value this Heavenletter and aren't wasting any time.
Can we just do it, Uwe? Get the English out Monday?

Dear Gloria, dear colleagues
I have just postet the HL "Earthquake in Kathmandu". It took some trials to put the question of Chetan in the top and to format it. The opening words "God said" are generated by the system and I cannot remove them. So I put an extra "God answered" into the text.
The HL is going to be published and sent out on May, 11th, 00:30UTC,. Changes can be made until then or the publishing-date can be adjusted, if monday should be too short.
Since there is no possibilty to create a HL-# like "1111A" this HL has the number 5313.
Take it as a suggestion and fix, whatever you think, should be finxed, especially the top with Chetan's question.
BTW: "Earthquake" is normally wiritten with a lower "e" at the beginning with one exception. Perhaps, that should be fixed?

I know the difficulty about the God said being part of the template.
Let me ask you this, dear Uwe: Chetan's question is in blue, and, of course, we mean the blue to indicate God's Words.. I'm guessing that this is also something you have no control over.
Let's bring Will in on this and see if there is anything he can do to possible take out the first God said. If he can, then we could change the God answered, another save from you)back to God said.
And if this special Heavenletter has to go out exactly as it is right nowt, that's wonderful too. The important thing is that this momentous response from God go out quickly.

If I'm understanding correctly, this special edition message is going to be given a regular Heavenletter number. I hope that someone can come up with a way to give it a special identification number before then. This message is not a Heavenletter in the sense that the regular series of messages are, it is a personal response from God with worldwide application, in fact a special edition, and should not be confused with the regular series of messages. Surely there is a way to give it a special number by someone with the technical savvy.

Let's not leave out Chetan who asked the question and God Who answered it right away.
So that no pressure is put on translators, this Special Edition Heavenletter doesn't have to appear in any special order. It can just be the second Heavenletter that goes out with whatever Heavenletter is going out the day the translator is ready. Will all team leaders or someone make sure that all translators know about this?
I can't help but feel that something great is going on now. All the energy that is engendered.

Thanks, dear Will. Be sure I appreciate your attention on this. In the new upgrade, I'm thinking perhaps there can be more flexibility built in.
From the beginning, I have always favored sending a Heavenletter rather than giving a link.The odds are that more people will read something they receive than will press a link to go to it.
Also, Uwe has already gone to a lot of trouble. There are also other hearts that are already invested in this.
It seems to me that once before we got around the blue ink.
God said is in black. I wonder if that could be un-bolded all the time, and then perhaps Uwe could put the initial question right after that and then after it's added and go back and make it a new line. Maybe worth a try.

the translation ready before monday.

because #5313 is inserted in the listing and will be send out as soon as possible, it means that (when I am correct) June 11th an even number : #5312 will be send out and June 12th also a Heavenletter with an even number: #5314 will be send out. Is this correct?

I wonder whether all this went well, since neither Paula nor I did receive Heavenletter #5313 in English this morning.
I also did not receive the regular Heavenletter of today.
In the meantime I sent out the Dutch and French translations, and the Spanish, Portuguese and Italian will follow soon.
