Dear God, I give Ginger her injections regularly, as You know, and I think overcoming my fear here taught me how to pay attention to what I'm doing and not be so emotionally involved. This situation made it so clear to me that when I'm emotionally involved, I'm really not good for much.

And yet, what does it mean, to follow your heart, but not be emotionally involved?
