I am not a sheeple
I am not a sheeple. (Sheeple are people who do not think or feel for themselves because they are too busy following and mimicking other people) Most people are like sheep: therefore they are sheeple. I am not condemning sheeple...I want to be clear about this. I am rather just making a point, a distinction. I do have great compassion for all people, whether they are sheeple or not. I was once very much a sheeple...now, thankfully I am not. I listen to my own guidance, own council, own intuition...that's just the way it is. And the messages and council I receive lately have less and less to do with the personal Jim that I once perceived myself to be.,,,and more and more to do with staying as focused and present and happy and Loving as I can be. This is my job! and I love my job! Why am I telling you this? Honestly? Because I feel I have real friends here on this site and honestly...where else would I share something like this? And why else am I sharing this? I have no idea...except that I am guided to. And ps...if you think you have sheeple tendencies, you are not alone...we all do! But getting out of denial is the first step to recovery and the ultimate step to claim freedom and independence is loving oneself...completely...just as you are!! Loving you always, Jim.

This theme seems to really be going around.
Today's blog entry is about this very thing.
Personal questions to God are coming in about this very thing.
And now you make me smile with the word you made up!
I was a really good sheeple for most of my life, and I'm not all free yet. :)
Bah! Bah!...
Oh yes, Gloria me too. I recognize tendencies of this within myself still today...even when I believe most of it is gone...then I discover more! Yet it is a great gift to recognize it. Love, Jim.
Pam(fortheloveofGodde) It's
Pam(fortheloveofGodde)
It's funny how that works. I, who had always prided myself excessively on my independence ... I did not not "need" anyone, blah-blah-blah. I had to learn to follow.
Of course, I'm following my OWN guidance from Godde. As I told a friend, "I'll be happy to follow as long as you're going in the same direction."
I don't think it's being exactly a sheeple (LOVE the term), but open to the teachings and examples of others as long as it's the TRUTH. It's my own discernment (or instincts) that I finally opened up to. To pay attention to what Godde is telling me.
Gloria, you say you had sheeple tendencies (and I'm sure we all do in many areas), but when I read your blogs about how you taught school, there sure wasn't anything sheeple about you. (I love that word! It's fun to say and feel on the tongue!)
I know many sheeple and part of my job is to help them pay attention--to discover their own power of discernment. The how to discover the kernel of truth that sometimes lies hidden within a whole field full of bullcorn.
Great post, Jim, great explanation. Sheeple! Love it ...
Yes, beloved Pam. You are
Yes, beloved Pam. You are right. When I taught school, I did what seemed right to me no matter how it seemed to someone else. Thank you for reminding me.
So, is one who is growing away from being a sheeple and who helps other sheeple then a sheepler?
