I am here
Hello dear ones,
I have been recieving Heavenletters for more than two years now, I have also been a member of the forum for more than 16 weeks, so I am not really new.
I felt I should introduce myself to you dear one. My name is Ekene Okechukwu, I am a Nigerian, live in lagos Nigeria and male.
I have really been inspired by Heavenletters that I have kept all the daily letters sent to me since I subscribed.
I trust dear one that this is a wonderful time in our life, a time where God can speak to us personally, a time where our heritage "love" is taking over all we do.
Love from the heart of God has been the root of our life, it still the root of our life and will still be the root of our life.
We will be knowing each other better as the days unfold. Thank you all for being in my life.
With gratitude and Blessing
Ekene Okechukwu
This is such a beautiful
This is such a beautiful introduction to a special soul who serves God.
You are setting an example . It would be great to have others also tell us about themselves.
What is like in Nigeria where you live, Ekene? Is life much simpler there than here?
With love and blessings,
Gloria
Dear Gloria, Life in Nigeria
Dear Gloria,
Life in Nigeria is wonderful, I believe that simpler could be defined by different parameters. I believe life in Nigeria is acceptable to me, because Nigeria is a country on the rise, we have issues to solve no doubt but we are on the rise.
The people here are still learning how to serve each other, how to live without me against others. If I would describe My country Nigeria like a foreign media person, I would say Nigeria has so many problems, I would tell you that the government is corrupt, I would tell you that this is a complex country to live in.
If I would tell you about Nigeria as an PRO (Public relation officer) for the country, I would tell you that Nigerians are peaceful people to live with, that we are very accomodating, that Nigeria government is fighting corruption at its best, that democracy is working in Nigeria though we have little problem here and there.
Then my really view of my country is that we really need to be fast in whatever we are doing to make this country a better place to live, comparing Nigeria with the USA, there is a great Gap, life I think is simpler in the USA than here, though I have not been in US, but from the media, internet, the people that have been there, life is from that view simpler.
Imagine that in my country you would have to generate your own electricity to run a business, that means you have to own a generator, fuel it on almost the entire business hour of the day. The fuel, which we are one of the biggest producers (crude oil) is expensive and sometimes scarce.
So I trust you will view Nigeria as less simpler place to live than some other countries, Yes it is a wealthy country but life is not easy for the people and this is one of the reasons I have master mind group in my website.
Again I trust that we are rising.
Thank you very much.
With gratitude and blessing,
Ekene

Beloved Ekene, it never
Beloved Ekene, it never occurred to me that life in America is simpler. I have thought it complex. I do see what you mean.
I love how you described your country from different points of view.
Is there more heart in Nigeria? Greater hospitality? Of course, I am asking you to generalize. I know there are beautiful hearts everywhere.
God bless you!
With love, Gloria
Dear Gloria, Yes there are
Dear Gloria,
Yes there are beautiful hearts here, but as human that we are, sometimes the society get so charged due to some tribal or ethnic issues, but rating my country generally, the people are very accomodating and very patient in handling societal matters.
Religion is also very high here, the christian groups (though with multi denormination) and muslim groups are very well on the uprise.
Hospitality is what I will say is very warm here, I mean the people and environment. There are some interesting places to visit and experience the greatness of God, His miracle and his wonders.
I will be telling you more about my country the way I see it.
With gratitude and blessing.

Hello & Blessings Dearest
Hello & Blessings Dearest Ekene!
We are so pleased to have you here with us at Heavenletters! It is so good to hear from you, & to know how very much you have been enjoying the Heavenletters. I have saved most of them also, but I have not been a memeber here myself as long as you! You must have quite a few! It is so nice to have them to look at & reflect on, even after their daily showing here online. Sometimes, just the right sentiment will come through a Heavenletter just when you need it most. I know it is that way for me often .
I missed giving you a proper greeting when you joined, so here it is now: Welcome to Heavenletters, Ekene! :)
It is lovely to hear of Nigeria. I did know a Nigerian man who was studying to become doctor here in the US. He was named Sonny, & I worked with him at a doctor's office in 1989. He had the lovliest accent! I am sure your is the same. :)
I would say you are right, love is the root of ur lives. We all grow from love, into love, & stay love...as long as we stay aware of God's presence in our lives.
Keep posting! We love to hear from you.
