Just for my own learning : in "You, and every one of My Children IS", what is the grammatical rule behind the use of the verb at the 3rd person sing. with "you + 3rd person + verb (person and number)"?

Yes, it has to be are. Even if God intended the singular you, it has to be you are. How embarrassing!

I hope you understand (and I know you Do undestand, because you do have such a keen spirit) that it is very delicate to compare grammars between two different languages. What sounds unnatural to one language can sound very natural to another language. So that we never know, as translators, if we are identifying aperceived "mistake" (what a Big word!) or if we are just projecting our own linguistic pattern into another language's linguistic pattern, That's why we always have to do tip toe walking when we ask questions. And that's the way it has to be.
