This "And, behold, you" is a very unusual construction. Is God stressing each word that is separate by a comma but that would otherwise be read as "And behold you."? Would it mean then "And observe/view/perceive yourself"?

I think it's like this: "And, wow, you." "And, amazingly, you!" Probably should have exclamation point. "And, look, you." "And, behold -- you."

Maybe a dash would take care of it?
