The vision of the Godwriting™ International Society of Heaven is to share Heavenletters™ with the whole world in all languages without reservation or conditions. Regardless of who we are, when we read Heavenletters, our views of life, ourselves, and the world change. Little by little, just from reading Heavenletters alone, without lessons or exercises, without trying, we grow.
"You do not have to understand My words, for now you possess them. You do not have to remember My words, for now they stir within you. You don't have to do anything because now you have all the seeds planted within you. They will grow with or without your attention. Your awareness will blossom, and there is nothing you can do to stop it."
Everything God says applies to each of us, and each day's Heaven Letter contains a new message God wants us to hear that day. For people of all faiths, or of none, Heavenletters are like a walk we take with God. With each step, we come closer until we find there is no distance between God and us.
The natural process of hearing God's words ever so softly for ourselves we call Godwriting™. Both Heavenletters and Godwriting deepen our personal intimacy with God.

Someone asked me what the purpose of a mission statement is. Heaven Admin can answer that far better than I, but I will tell you my experience with it. There were many drafts before this and many meetings where Heaven Admin and I kept going over it.
I experienced the process as a technique. This was my same experience with putting the web site together originally when there was no web site and this was before Heaven Admin arrived on the scene. Right now I am amazed at my daring to go ahead when I knew so little. Of course, Heaven Admin has expanded since then.
I say that the Vision Statement and the website were techniques because they helped me to discover what Heavenletters were. I was focusing on something good, sort of like a Vedic sutra, and I did get somewhere and make discoveries. If what we focus on is important, and God says it is, I was focusing on something good that I could only grow from.
Immersed in Heavenletters as I am, you would think I would really know what they're about, yet there is a difference in receiving a Heavenletter and giving Godwriting workshops and knowing what they are really and how they fit in in the big picture.
Another good thing about doing the Vision Statement is that we did it in one page.
I am grateful to Heaven Admin that he suggested we do a Vision Statement. Heaven Admin is always thinking of Heavenletters and ways to bring them out into the world. I believe a vision statement means to tell in a few words what our purpose is so that someone new to us can have a fairly good idea of what we are in a short time.
You know it usually takes more thought to write something concise than to use all the words you want. It was a good experience.
At the same time, when you write something, feedback from others who are looking at it with new eyes can be very insightful.
A vision is the act of seeing.
A vision is the act of seeing and the vision statement is the declaration or affirmation of that vision. A vision is always related to a stand point and it has a focal point. I think that we find all these ingredients in the present Heavenletter Vision Statement. We know fairly well what to expect. It is limpid.
Perfect as it is.
This statement is straightforward yet inspiring, not missionary yet engaging.
I have much interest in the idea of online Godwriting workshops and How to Godwrite book.

May I make the suggestion to add a quote from HL 2748 " Yes, free will".
" You do have free will. I gave it to you ".
" Now, the time will come when your will is totally aligned with My Will. You have the free will to align your will with Mine. As you come closer and closer to Me, what happens is that you find out what your will is. You find out that what you want is the same as what I want. You find out that you think the way I do. You find out that you see as I see. You have not lost yourself. You have found yourself. Do not think that you have given up your free will. You simply find yourself in a place where you do not deny yourself the love and wisdom that are yours. It is not so much that you follow the leader as it is that you recognize your Oneship with Me. We blend, beloveds, We blend beautifully. "
Now it's a lot of text, I know. The point is not so much that it should be this text to be added. It's more that a quote about free will seems relevant.
There may certainly be an HL that says it even better and with a smaller amount of words. And there are those among us who may know where to find this (Jochen?)

Si, Senor, I agree with you. We will have a richer Vision Statement because of the feedback. I don't think I would ever have thought of these suggestions. They are right on the mark.
As soon as we have them tied together, we'll post the latest version.

Succinct yet complete. Personally I would feel more comfortable with something like "peace in our hearts" than "Peace on Earth" as our focus is all inward.

I like peace in our hearts too. And I like very much the point of free will.
Someone didn't post -- I wish everyone would post -- but did write in with a good basic suggestion, and that is to get in what Heavenletters are exactly at the beginning for those who may not know that they are newsletters, daily messages from God.
I am seeing how to get all this in now and keep the vision statement to one page.

I realize now that writing a vision statement is writing a constitution in the same vein as when the U.S. forefathers wrote The Constitution of the United States. A vision statement is a vital statement. I think Heavenletters will expand more now because of our attention on these words.
