Heavenletter #5427 A Moving Star
Dear Gloria,
I wonder whether in this paragraph "Consider that in this day before you -- every day before you -- is new and filled with the unexpected. No one knows what today will bring." it should read: "Consider that this day before you -- ...."
Furthermore, the word "assurety" is not to be found. Should this be "surety"?
Is the word "exhileration"iin the last but one paragraph correct? And if so, what does it mean? My dictionary says joy or excitement, and that seems odd to me in this sentence.

Would you like a Heavenletter today? Here it is. I give it to you. Every Heavenletter is a little poke. Heavenletters beckon you into the realms of your DNA. DNA seems like your past all set, yet your inheritance moves you forward. Ultimately, your DNA is Mine. Whatever details it may contain, your DNA is My say-so, for you and I share DNA. Your DNA is not a fixed star. It is a moving star. Your DNA has no bounds. You dance to the tune of your DNA, yet your DNA dances to the tune of your Heart’s Longings.
Let’s have a lovelier name for DNA.
Let Us call it Dear New Aspirations. Let Us call it Dreams Now Alive. Let Us call it Dedicated Neutral Actions. Let Us call it Destined Natural Alohas. Let Us call it Love.
There is no getting set in life. Life is movement. Life is a surprise. Life can be anything it is.
It is no kidding when Hamlet said:
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
And Hamlet also says:
And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
Yes, welcome life. My beautiful children have a tendency to let life be unwelcome and attend overmuch to the hum-drum or to the unkind.
Consider that in this day before you -- every day before you -- is new and filled with the unexpected. No one knows what today will bring.
Many times this makes you feel insecure, and you become tense. You hold your head down in the hopes of avoiding heartache. What is this safety that you crave? What is this assurety you cry for? Have you not known that you are on an adventure in life? Do you really and truly want life to be the same every day? Life is not a closet you sit in. It is not a tiny place where nothing happens..
Life on Earth is a vast place where anything and everything can happen.
Every day of life is exactly that – the unknown. Life is the unknown in its relative aspects. This means everchanging. Nothing stays the same in the relative world.
The movie reel spins. What combination of changing colors will today be? What breezes will blow? What hems will fall down? What textures will today contain? What happiness and what sorrows? What will you remember, and what will you forget? What will you imagine, and what will be real?
This whole surface of life that seems so real is not. It is a fantastic fantasy. Sometimes it is riding on a rollercoaster. Sometimes it is basking in the sun. Sometimes it is a swim in the lake. The surface of life is what it happens to be. You can be sure that, whatever it may be, it will change. Change is the name of the game of life on Earth. Have I said this before? And, yet, you would like to hold the reins of the steeds of life. You would like to hold them back, or you would like to spur the steeds forward. You want life to be both ways under your jurisdiction, of course.
Remember that you are to be open in life, not closed. This is another way of saying that life can pick you up and toss you in the world. Life can never be the same. You can never stay the same. There is a tide to the Ocean of Life. Waves lap the shore, and waves leap away from the shore. The Ocean inhales and exhales, as it were. You breathe in, and you breathe out. There is exhilaration, and there is the pulling back and then the going forward.
Life is also what you make of it. Ride the waves, beloved. All is well.
Dear Luus, I'm sorry to take
Dear Luus, I'm sorry to take so long to get back to you. I appreciate your questions.
I have to tell you that these were not easy questions for me.
In this one, the simplest might be to use the world after the first dash:
Consider that this day before you --and every day before you -- is new and filled with the unexpected. No one knows what today will bring.
Regarding What is this assurety.
It's possible that surety would work. I was unsure from the beginning.I think something I read in a dictionary indicated that it might not be.
I also discovered now that the correct spelling of the word that was used is assurity. This spelling doesn't seem quite right to me. I don't like this spelling.
There was something I read on line earlier on that had turned me away from the word surety.
Right now it feels fine to use the word surety. It just seems more comfortable. Everyone will get the idea.
So, yes, use surety. To be totally "correct" just doesn't seem so important as it once did.
Thanks, Luus, for your caring.
Hi! I have a question
Hi!
I have a question regarding this Heavenletter. I'm working on translating it into spanish, and i've hit a bit of a wall. DNA in spanish translates to ADN, and while it's the same letters, i cant quite match a word that starts with the same letter to make it work with this initials.
For example, in this part: "Let Us call it Dear New Aspirations. Let Us call it Dreams Now Alive. Let Us call it Dedicated Neutral Actions. Let Us call it Destined Natural Alohas. ". Dear New Aspirations would translate into Queridas Nuevas Aspiraciones. So do i tweek these around by using words that match the initials ADN in that exact order or do i use the translated expressions literally even if they dont match the initials ADN?
Hope you all understand this post lol
In Dutch it is also DNA and
In Dutch it is also DNA and only the first English DNA could be converted into the Dutch DNA. Therefore I left the English DNA there and put the Dutch translation between brackets, like this:
Laten We het Dierbare Nieuwe Aspiraties noemen. Laten We het Dreams Now Alive (Dromen Nu Levend) noemen. Laten We het Dedicated Neutral Actions (Toegewijde Neutrale Acties) noemen. Laten We het Destined Natural Alohas (Voorbestemde Natuurlijke Aloha’s) noemen. Laten We het Liefde noemen.
Yes, this is very
Yes, this is very understandable question: Thank you for bringing it up
I imagine there are several possible solutions. I think you present a fine solution.
Another possibility would be to put the English DNA -- and right after in parentheses put ADN, and just keep going with the words as given. Would this make sense to your readers?
Dear Wanda, I believe this is an instance where you simply have to decide for yourself. Whatever works best for you in Spanish is A-OK. This is a special case.. You know the intended meaning very well, and you choose best how to represent it. Certainly, you can resolve this far better than I can, dear one.
It's very possible that a translator in another language faced the same question and would share their solution.
God bless translators!
Well, Luus, you got your
Well, Luus, you got your answer up before I did! Looks GOOD.
Fantastic ladies, i think
Fantastic ladies, i think this helps tremendously. Let me see how i put it together in spanish. Thanks a lot! :)
some about me
Dear Gloria,
I want to tell you something about me. I have translated Heavenletter 5379 at that time only for myself, because I was very touched about it and Theophil had not published it. Especially the phrase "If you do not try for something wondrous right now, When will you? Later? Why later? Why not now?" has caused resonance in me. Then I turned to you and obtained contact with Theophil. He asked me, whether I would like to do further translations. Actually, this was not my intention. But I asked my heart, and the answer was, I should do it. So I translate now every week one Heavenletter - with joy.
Beloved Axel, who is it who
Beloved Axel, who is it who says that God works in wondrous ways?! Who could make this happen. Now you are a Heavenletter translator! You hadn't intended that, yet here you are!
This is how it must be in one way or another for the rest of us.
It was like this for me, too, Axel. Something started to happen that I could not have predicted. No one could have predicted. And now it's 20 years of writing down what I hear God whisper every day.
Were these desires we didn't know we had?
You were needed, and so you appeared.
We're all so glad and grateful that you did.
Here are some chords that the Heavenletter that inspired you struck me as I re-read it:
get beyond whatever limits you have set for yourself.
What is all this that you must have your feet on the ground as the world purports that to be? What a dreary process. You can have your feet on the ground any day of the week. Why limp around when you can fly?
Your feet can be on the ground any day of the week. Why limp around when you can fly?
The nectar you extract yourself is the sweetest.
Light a flame that brightens the world. You will never know what you can do unless you give yourself permission to give it a whirl.
There comes a time for you to leap and leap again and leap higher and higher.
And then the beautiful quote you chose above, Axel.
Now I couldn't be without Heavenletters. They have changed my life so much.
Thank you for your comment.
