Maybe a typo?

blessings,
Anneke

Even if you cannot truthfully bless another, you can know that you crossed paths. Even every-day occurrences and reoccurrences have a purpose. A little nod from you is not too high a price to give to a seeming stranger who walks past you. Non-acknowledgment costs, beloveds.

Hi Anneke~ I was beginning

Hi Anneke~ I was beginning to think you were right about it not being in the dictionary, even tho it is obvious in meaning to a native English speaker, something that occurs again. But I found it in the Oxford English Dictionary, which is where you go when all else fails. It gives the meaning of "reoccurrence" as:

A further occurrence; a recurrence.

It means the same as your recurrence, but recurrence just wouldn't work in the sentence, both in intuitive sense and in the sound and rhythm. So you can translate it as recurrences but the English should stay as reoccurrences. I'm thinking that most English speakers would say reoccurrence anyway. I would. Recurrence is much more formal.

Thanks a lot! Charles

Thanks a lot, Charles, problem solved!

Dear Anneke, you are, once

Dear Anneke, you are, once again, correct. I don't think it was even a typo. It was my ingnorance or spaciness.
Recurrences are correct. You can fix, dear one?

According to Charles....

Dear Gloria,

according to Charles it is okay the way it is, because it says so in the Oxford dictionary?

I can leave this way or change it? Please let me know?

Okay, dear Anneke. Maybe I

Okay, dear Anneke. Maybe I like 5 syllables better than 4! I dunno. Thank you and thank Charles!
