Is this sentence correct or should the last "as you are" be deleted? Your best bet is to be as you are at this stage as you are.

You have perfection within, yet, in the regular world, you cannot rise to a perfection that all would hail. Your best bet is to be as you are at this stage as you are. Of course, you yourself may not see yourself at the height you are. You may be the last to know.

Typically, we wouldn't emphasize the point this way, yet God seems to want to emphasize it this way. It certainly could have been a typo. In this case, I'm not sure.

At the same time that we can exaggerate ourselves in the world, we also don't know how great we are. It's not quite so simple.

Do you have this expression in Dutch? When in doubt, don't.

It may be the better part of valor to just to leave it as is.
