I would think that the sentence should read: "....what a difference lies between your being a prince when you know you are and your being a prince unaware.

This brings us back to what relative life is anyway. It is relative, beloveds. It is how you look at it and in relationship to what. Life is incomparable. Life in the world has an exquisiteness. Even as a rose has thorns, it is a rose in a rose garden just the same. Thorns on a rose serve a purpose. Thorns make the stem of a rose strong. Thorns hold up the rose. Rose are loved despite their thorns.
Should us in the first sentence not be written with a capital U?
