Dear Gloria,

The title of this Heavenletter is: "Something’s gotta give" and the very last sentence reads: "Something’s gotta give, and it’s you."

I have no idea how to translate "Something's gotta give". Can you please explain what it means?

Literally, it means: Something has to give. In other words, something has to change.

It sounds like this romantic man and woman are at an impasse in their relationship. And the person singing the song is saying that the woman has to "give in." Of course, when a woman sings the song, she's saying the man does.

Now I'm going to take a look at the Heavenletter, and come right back.

Okay, this may be the crux of the Heavenletter itself:
