Heaven #4533 -- typo? + question

Dear Gloria,

1/ I might have found another typo :

Many questions do not bear a Yes or No answer. In terms of the relative world, the true answer to many questions would be: “It depends.”

That is how it is in the relative world is.

Some of the laws of the land leave no leeway. There are no exceptions. There is no room left for heart to enter.

"is" seems to have no logical meaning here.

2/ paragraph 4

Who has made a law or protested it and found another way to do it?

Sorry, This one puzzles me. I feel something is missing. Could you paraphrase?

I see three actions :
making a law [or]
protesting a law [and]
findind another way to do (what?) (a law?)(the same law?)

I can't see the logic here.

I would expect something like this:

Who hasn't made a law and then protested it and found another way to handle the matter/case?

Thank you for your help !

With all my Love,

Jean-Christophe.

Beloved, you are really

Beloved, you are really keeping me on my toes these days!

Yes, clearly you found a typo. I will take out that extra IS right away.

Who has made a law or protested it and found another way to do it?

It does indeed look like a not was mistakenly omitted. Let's look at your choice:

Who hasn't made a law and then protested it and found another way to handle the matter/case?

Let's try this on for size:

Who hasn't made a law and then protested it and thought of a better way?

What I'm submitting to you, I'm not sure it works. I would really like to look at it again in the morning when I'm rested.

Would love your feedback, dear one.

I'll be back!

Dear Jean-Christophe, I

Dear Jean-Christophe, I wonder what your finding so many typos will do to my image. I don't know why I overlooked this one, I certainly should have found it.
Just a minute ago, Gloria, I took out the IS, so you will not find it there any more.

Beloved Luus, your image

Beloved Luus, your image will never be tarnished in my eyes. You have come to the rescue so many times. You are a star proofer.

And thanks so much for deleting that typo.

I'm going to try to be more careful with my proofing from now on.

Loving you,

Gloria

Dear Luus, Most of the time,

Dear Luus,

Most of the time, I make use of a secret tool which allows me to catch a lot of typos.

It's a text-to-speech free internet software that actually reads sentences aloud in English. So, what the human eye can't see, the software reads it anyway. It reads every words ; it cannot miss a single one.

http://text-to-speech.imtranslator.net/

Copy paste the text you are proofing into the software, let the software read it aloud, and your hear will catch what your eye could miss.

If you happen to have a smartphone or a tablet, there are tools alike which are doing just the same job.

Why do I use this? It allows me to improve my pronounciation in English.

And I use it in my own language too, when proofing my own translations.

We have a saying in French : "L'essayer, c'est l'adopter."

With all my love,

Jean-Christophe.

Jean-Christophe, this is

Jean-Christophe, this is tres valuable How did you ever find it!

Thank you for your attention to detail.

God bless you.

With love,

Gloria

How's this:Who hasn't made

How's this:

Who hasn't made a law and then protested it and thought of a better way to write it?

Is the antecedent clear now?

Now it makes sense, thank

Now it makes sense, thank you Gloria.

I'll translate from what you just gave me.

I am going to translate 3 more texts by the end of the day, I might have some more questions on the way.

God bless you,

JC
