"What is all this attention on your learning this, or your learning that so that you master one more thing? Learn what you want to learn, and be your own proprietor of learning. In all cases, you can only learn yourself. Even with ten teachers, you are your own teacher.
There is no need to give your own power away to anyone. Do not think that you have to learn what someone has to teach so that you can reach Heaven or Heaven on Earth sooner or better. Tell Me now, really, is someone a better teacher than I?"
I am not sure what this "power" is referring to. Is it the power of learning? How do you give it away?

Ah, I think it means that,
Ah, I think it means that, as we live our lives thinking that others must know more than we do, that others must know how to get to Heaven and can get us there faster, as we think we are not capable by ourselves, as we think we have to wait for someone else to show us how, as we take this course and that course, we give our power away. Interesting question -- what is mean by personal power? I am guessing it means that we think knowledge is outside us rather than within. You know there are many who kind of hop from one course to another, always hoping that this new course is the one that will do it all for us. The idea has often been that the Kingdom is outside us rather than within.
I don't have the entire Heavenletter in front of me, yet I'm pretty sure this is what is meant.
