Dear God, I can't tell you how touched I am by Your response to me. I cry, I smile, I feel a tremendous sense of relief. I feel so blessed to be a part of Heaven.

Ruth to God:

Dear God, I have been taught several healing techniques, like Reiki and Esoteric Healing, both of which involve jump-starting the healing energy in the person who is seeking help. I am never very confident that I'm "doing it right" and really helping the other person.

I really wonder whether these techniques are any more effective than simple direct prayer to You, even though in both methods there is an initial prayer that the healing be done in Your name and for the highest good of the soul.

Thank You very much for all the wonderful words of wisdom and love that pour from You through Heavenletters.

God to Ruth:

My dear daughter Ruth, how glad I am to hear from you. I would like your input often in Heavenletters. Each of My children has a special gift to offer others. You have much to give, and to yourself as well. Give more to yourself.

Right, doing it right, is with the intent, dear Ruth. It is with your motive. The prayer you say is good. You do not do healing so you will be a healer. You do healing to help My children for Me. It is that simple.

Your hands are another way to offer prayer.

Everyone is comforted by hands.

Even putting your own hand on your own forehead gives comfort.

In the healing that you do, you give comfort.

You open the other person to My healing.

What if I were to tell you that there is no right? The pure of heart could do it "wrong" and it would be right.

It was not Jesus' technique that worked. It was the power of his intention and his vision. Motions do not work. Hearts and souls work.

You are well on your way to being an invisible healer, Ruth. By invisible, I mean, true. You and your hands offer Me to another. You call on Me to heal.

The power of attention is great. The power of intention and attention are great. I would never tell you to pray and discard something else. Pray and include.

I do tell you not to doubt yourself so much. No one knows more than you, dear Ruth. You will find your own way in this healing business. Remind yourself Who heals. Remind yourself Whose hands yours are. Remind yourself that you can do anything with Me as your Host. Also remind the people you work with that they can too.

If something you have learned no longer seems to be your truth, that is a different matter. You do not fake your truth. Search for Me more than techniques. Revere Me and not walkers on earth.

Kathy to God:

Dear God, thank You for Heavenletters and all Your answers to our questions. I have another question for You.

My back is structurally bad. Chiropractors can't fix it. I put in one to one and a half hours per day doing yoga asanas which keep me out of extreme pain, and I am thankful for that, but I could use that time doing the writing You suggested if I didn't have this bad back.

But, dear God, You have the power to fix anything for anyone, so why don't You come in and heal me? If I had more faith, then would You?

I understand that We are co-creators. How much of ourselves do we have to take care of and how much do You?

I am not upset with You or anything. I suppose it's my karma.

God to Kathy:

Dear Kathy, there is nothing you have asked Me right now that you cannot answer yourself.

I created, Kathy, and now you are responsible. There is no better way to look at it than that. Your thinking is responsible. You muddy your life. I don't.

What if you were left with no pain? What would be your worthy reason for not giving more of yourself rather than seeking more for yourself?

You let things stop you.

You let them stop you because you do not believe in Me or yourself. You and I are a mirage somewhere in your mind, dear Kathy. You really prefer not to deal with Us.

Bad back is a creative way to not deal with Us. How can you, you say, when you have to spend up to an hour and a half doing exercises to keep you free of pain? I am not saying that your back doesn't hurt you. I am saying that that is not the issue. I am not saying that you absolutely must do what I suggest; I am saying: Don't make excuses for not doing. Do, or not do, but leave out excuses.

The truth is you do not have confidence, not in Me and not in yourself. I am not talking faith at this moment. I am talking just ordinary confidence.

You are a hesitator, Kathy.

You hover.

You won't take flight, and you won't stay on the ground either.

You strew camouflage around you.

You hide in vines.

No matter, Kathy, you spread joy.

You could spread more.

Kathy, you do not even take yourself seriously.

You are a kidder, Kathy.

I wonder if I should ask Ruth to help you heal yourself long-distance.

But you know you have to want to be healed.

Maybe you are really content right now.

Maybe you have everything you want.

Everything you want to keep you from expressing your greatness.

I don't hold you back, Kathy.

You hold yourself back.

I say all this with great love for You.

Do you doubt My love?

Do you doubt My ability?

Do you doubt My intent?

What is it you doubt?

Never mind.

What is it you want?

What is it you wait for?
