Happy Winter Solstice!
The Spirit of Winter
Arrives with a smile
Her beauty and grace
With Love do beguile
Gaia now rests
In slumber abides
A blanket of peace
Dawn’s promise now hides
The seeds of new Life
Lie dormant until
The Sun warms Her body
Her womb then will fill
With treasures and wonders
Once more to behold
As signs of new Life
In the Spring will unfold
So peace until then
Sleep well precious Earth
We thank you so much
For all that you birth
So loving and giving
You share all Your gifts
May peace be now with You
As Your Spirit now drifts
We sing You a lullaby
A song of Pure Love
In slumber now rest
In the arms of The Dove

Mary, how lovely! And how
Mary, how lovely! And how nice of you to remind me. This is the day I always celebrate deep in my heart, more so than many others. Today I almost forgot. Thank you, dear.
Thank you Jochen!
Yes, now is the time to go deeply within ~ enjoy the journey Dear Heart!
Love & hugs
Mary :)

They say poets and children
They say poets and children see the essential beauty that weaves through the world! How beautifully you pay homage to father sun and mother earth. Mary, I would enthusiastically read your poetry to any child! I wish we were given this poem in our English class.
You have a special gift Mary. I've seen it so many times in your poetry. The above poem will fit beautifully into an illustrated poetry book for children (50yr young children too!).
In the Southern Hemisphere we celebrated the Summer Soltice yesterday.
One Love
Bless you Santhan ~ thank you! :)
As well as being a poet, I am most assuredly a child at heart too Santhan! :)
I Am My Father
I Am My Mother
I Am The Child in my womb
I Am the Sunlight
I Am Water and Air
I Am the Earth from which All doth bloom
I Am I
and so it is!
M :)
