Guidance

Giving Guidance

As parents we guide our children
Such a job to do...
Our teenage children think they
know all life's answers

How do we tell them it is wrong?
to do all the things friends tell them to
We can only advise and tell them not
to drink or take drugs... and when they
disappoint us and do their own thing
and go to all night parties, without adult
supervision, still come home and tell you
what happened, saying it was all innocent...

Surely the answer is not to turn them out
the house, or to rant and rave,
but be glad that they are safe.

It is by love and communication we can break through
we can let them make mistakes to. Knowing
they will be loved when they come home and
just like the prodigal Son lets still have a party
when he/she comes home for he/she is still my
son or daughter, and they have learned right from wrong
and at the end of the day... Well My child I love you
and God, He loves us to...
Luv Daisy... (For Amanda My daughter 17)
