Gloria...category question...
Hi Gloria...I did see your suggestion to put my writings in a category other than "great quotations". Is this a change in policy?...since the beginning of the description of "Great Quotations" reads:
"Anything inspirational, uplifting and spiritual that isn't Heavenletters...."
"Anything" is anything...including personal writing. So just to clarify, maybe this description should change to: "great quotes other than personal writing..." Anyway, I'm happy to put my writing in general or creative writing category, and I will start doing this write away. Gloria...Appreciating so much...all that you do for this beautiful site! Love, Jim.
Well, Jim, I see I need to
Well, Jim, I see I need to learn to say what I mean! I had better insert the word Famous or Well-known quotations. Quotations from somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if your comments do become well-known, and you really did put them where they belong.
Don't shoot me now, dear one, when I make one more suggestion -- you wouldn't, would you? I would much rather you shoot me than to withhold even one of your elevating comments. So, Jim, if you feel the impulse to post wherever you want, then please do.
This is all the schoolteacher in me, Jim, forgive me. If you continue a thread where it started, in this case, with your original beautiful comment, everyone would see my response, read your comment now, and understand the whole story.
And now I will be quiet, honest.
Loving and appreciating you,
Gloria
re: posting categories...
Thank you for your reply Gloria. Please, of course, any comment, suggestion or even correction, feel free to express. For me all is welcome. I think for now, it feels right to put my writings in the "General Stuff" category. And of course, categories don't impact or alter the message one bit...they just make finding things a little easier. Virtually all of my original topic writings...maybe 60 or 70 currently reside in the Great Quotations category. It does honestly feel like they belong in "General Stuff" now. Great quotations has a little connotation of "loftiness" to it...but just a little bit. General is more everyday...equally earthy and heavenly...just my intuitive sense. So...for now it is "General Stuff" for me!! Blessings, Jim.
Then I think we'd better
Then I think we'd better call General Stuff -- GREAT General Stuff!
